Good Points: Frendly staff clean hotel and near to town centre
Bad Points: at dinner the vegetableswere the same for all dishes I had fish and donot think that the veg supplied went with it

Bad Points: The room was not to the standard expected for the price. It was sorely in need of re-decoration, ie the carpet was stained, the walls were covered in marks.
Further Comments: The hotel location is excellent for the town centre, restaurants and nightlife. The staff are friendly and helpful. The secure parking is good, though I think it's unreasonable for the hotel to charge guests for parking. The bedroom was clean but was not to the standard expected for the price. It was badly in need of re-decoration. The walls were marked and the carpet was stained. The TV also needed attention, the picture quality was terrible. One final comment - though this applies to many hotels I have stayed at - clean your windows, especially at the front of the hotel.

Good Points: Lovely large room. Beds extremely comfortable.Staff very helpful and polite.
Bad Points: Hotel needs a fresh coat of paint.Water pressure superb but shower facilities dated and dangerous. Impossible to achieve correct water temperatures.
Further Comments: Superb location in centre of town.Staff were helpful, obliging, and charming.Meals were delightful, food fresh, with good choice.Hotel is well furnished in traditional fabrics, which I value.Fresh painting required in our bedroom. Overall a pleasant and comfortable stay.

Further Comments: bar to high and the none consistant bar prices ( price changed from round of the same drinks )

Bad Points: Heated towel rail in bathroom didn't work (Room 111). No face flannels supplied
Further Comments: Apart from the two minor dislikes stated above, my only wish was that we were staying for longer. The hotel is in a good location, close for everything Bournemouth has to offer and the hotel itself is of a very high standard.

Further Comments: THE RECEPTIONIST WAS NOT VERY HELPFUL ON ARRIVAL VERY VAGUE ABOUT THE CAR PARK LOCATION. THIS IS MY ONLY CRITISM OF THE WEEKEND OVERALL OUR STAY WAS VERY ENJOYABLE.

Good Points: we liked the breakfast
Bad Points: The bathroom was dusty and has cob webs all around the bathroom window. There was also a very strange smell in the bathroom.
Further Comments: The hotel itself was fine but our room was poor. Over priced for the standard. I went to reception on several occasions and there was never anyone there and no way of alerting staff to you being there. All staff were very friendly and helpful.
