The owners where extreamly helpfull and really made us feel welcome. |

The showers where a bit old but they worked fine, it wasnt expensive to stay therefore I cant complain about anything really. |

| Further Comments: A plesent two night midweek break to see the local area. This hotel was very centrally placed for the old town. Steep hill to access the main moden shopping area takes a longer walk to avoid - a problem if you have limited mobility. |

Decor a little dated. Portable TV on internal aerial - problem with Teletext (to get the rugby results) due to signal strength - TV perfectly watchable. |

| Further Comments: The room was more than adequate for our needs. It was very clean and tidy with a lovely view.Decor was a little dated but was in keeping with the style of a Victorian house . Staff were corteous helpful and friendly. The only slight gripe was that the breakfast could have been better. |

| Further Comments: good directions to hotel, friendly reception on arrival, large spotless room with tea/coffee making facilities, good shower with plenty of hot water for the two of us, breakfast menu for both meat eaters and vegitarians |
