| Good Points: Comprehensive extras in the room. Range of TV channels, DVD player + library. Wide choice for breakfast. Friendliness and helpfulness of of staff |
| Bad Points: Synthetic bed covers |
| Further Comments: A great balance between the cleanliness, comfort and efficiency of a chain hotel, with the the friendliness and personal touch of a guest house. The extensive extras in the bedroom and spacious bathroom made a real difference as did the DVD layer and large library of DVDs available for free. Wireless broadband internet was available, though I did not get the chance to try it out.
Great range of options for breakfast - all excellent quality.
Above all, nothing was too much trouble. I would recommend this guest house for business or leisure and for individuals or families. I will certainly use them again and have already recommended to others. |

| Good Points: It was exactly as we were led to expect |
| Bad Points: The on-street parking - but again we knew about it when we booked |
| Further Comments: The hospitality shown by Phillip and Jeanette was faultless.
The lack of in-house restaurant and bar was not an issue. There are good and varied facilities available within 5 minute walks.
We would heartily recommend the Mirador to anyone looking for a friendly, clean and sociable small hotel with character. |

Rooms are well worth the experience with all the added touches that make for an enjoyable stay.Highly reccomended and I will definately be going back. The breakfast choice is immense and nothing is too much trouble.I shoulsd really keep the place a closely guarded secret, however all good experiences should be shared! |
| Bad Points: Beleive it or not, there are absoluteley no negatives about the place. |
| Further Comments: If you want good clean accomodation with the benifit of a themed room, there are loads of extra's that make you feel at home. I have tried them all, travel lodges ,travel inns, hotels and the Mirador beats them all when it comes to hospitality they ECELL!
Don,t just take my word for it, the visitors book is crammed with praise and comments for making their stay special. |

| Good Points: Very clean and neat. Great bathroom. |
| Bad Points: room a little smaller than expected. |
| Further Comments: The room was very clean which is a nice change. The bathroom was nicely renovated and had a great shower. TV was good, with all the freeview channels. The staff were very friendly and even gave us directions for our travels the next day. Breakfast was very nice, and the sweets and mini liquor in room was a nice touch. Good location, and the staff provided useful recommendations on where to eat dinner. |

| Good Points: Almost everything. |
| Bad Points: The room's window was almost entirely obscured by the bathroom cabin. |
| Further Comments: As we stayed only one night, the room was perfectly ok. However, for a longer stay, the room we booked (mediterranean garden), might be somewhat small. Moreover, the room's window was almost entirely obscured by the bathroom cabin. Apart from this, everything was nice and clean. Toilets and bathroom appliances worked perfectly. The welcome was warm and the staff was kind and extremely helpful. |

| Good Points: Friendly, helpful atmosphere. Super breakfast. Comfortable room. It was clearly important to the owners that guests enjoyed their stay. |
| Bad Points: Nothing. |
| Further Comments: Our stay at the Mirador was thoroughly enjoyable. The owners were very friendly and the facilities rivalled many multi-national hotel chains, even though on a smaller scale. The list from which guests choose their cooked breakfast the evening before is a great idea. |

| Good Points: The Egyptian Experience SuiteRoom was spotlessly clean, spacious and so different from most boring Hotel rooms, quiet and centrally located too. |
| Bad Points: Absolutely nothing. |
| Further Comments: The Mirador is a Guest House with a real difference, Phillip and Jeannette are the perfect hosts. Our week-end Egyptian Experience was everything we could have wished for & more!!! The breakfast was exceptional, 5 Star choice, beautifully presented. Phillip & Jeannette's perception of how to run a Hotel is impeccable, they provide so many thoughtful little extras and they truly are SIMPLY THE BEST IN THEIR LEAGUE. When I read other Guests reviews before booking I thought they were too good to be true but I can assure you The Gower is stunning & the hospitality at the Mirador was a UNIQUE AND REMARKABLE EXPERIENCE. | Good Points: Nicely designed room, very original. Room fitted with modern equipment (Flatscreen TV, CD+DVD Player) Outstanding breakfast. |
| Further Comments: We can honestly agree with all the other people's positive reviews: friendly people, warm welcome, terrific rooms, great breakfast, reasonable price. We especially liked the relaxed and pleasant atmosphere, and the owners' dedication to all those tiny details that make this place so special after all - something you won't find in many places. Highly recommended. |

| Good Points: Themed rooms were a nice touch. Bathroom was very good. Breakfast excellent, couldn't be bettered. Good to have DVD and CD in the room. |
| Bad Points: I'm not a fan of cordless irons, they never seem to get hot enough. The room was v warm and whilst this had been pointed out in advance, the duvet seemed to be far too thick and a sheet would have probably been sufficient. |
| Further Comments: The owners of the hotel were very friendly/helpful and did a great job in putting us at ease and allowing us to have a relaxed weekend break. Location of the guest house is good, you are within walking distance of the many restaurants on St Helen's Road and close enough to venture on foot as far as Wind Street. |

| Good Points: The location close to all amenities, the facilities provided and the friendly welcome we received during our stay. |
| Further Comments: We were met with a warm greeting from our host after our long journey down from Luton. Phillip showed us to our spacious Suite on the top floor decked out in an Egyptian theme. It had everything you could have wanted: Flat screen TV, Freeview, DVD player and ample room to spread your self out and enjoy your stay. On their recommendation we visited a few of the local beaches near Swansea the following day and took the opportunity to walk round the bays which although very invigorating at this time of year they did have as promised quite spectacular views. That evening, again on recomendation, we visited one of the MANY eateries within walking distance of the hotel and were not dissapointed. We both feel that this has been a very enjoyable stay and will hope to return sometime soon. This place is a MUST! |
