Further Comments: The hotel was reasoanably priced, and whilst the decor is showing signs of age, the overall experience was good for a city centre hotel in this price bracket.

Bad Points: The TV in the room was a portable one. There was no shower gel or soap to wash with.
Further Comments: If I had a choice of accommodation I would not have chosen an hotel without bar or full breakfast facilities.The continental breakfast choice is limited and was very poor indeed.

Further Comments: It was a celebration but the hotel were unable to offer us glasses to toast with the champagne we had, we had to use cups. Not quite the same. Reception were helpful in making enquiries for a trip we were going on, which was kind. The room was very quiet, but very hot. Overall we had a pleasant stay and would definately return again.

Bad Points: Accomodation was old, poor and in need of maintenance. Curtains did not close fully, sink plug did not work, toilet fan screamed in operation. Carpet was worn and looked dirty. TV was not tuned. Access to the building via one lift was very slow. There was no Restaurant or bar.
Further Comments: This hotel appeared to be an old building converted. The rooms were incredibly poor, appeared unclean in respect of carpets, curtains, bed covers etc and in need of maintenance. Access was poor and slow. The ironing room was a joke. I was particularly dissappointed that the fact that there was no Restaurant or Bar was not highlighted when booking on the net. I and my collegues have been using Activehotels for some while with some good success such as accomodation in Newbury but this experience has basically put me off staying in one of your recommended hotels

Bad Points: the television should have more channels and should work without being fuzzy with a bad picture
Further Comments: i was in a room which was on floor 10. this was a long way from the entry/exit, and required 2 lifts. i didn't like this. as above the tv was not in good condition. I requested a non smoking room, which seems to be the reason for being so far away.

Good Points: The room was airy and large. Plus being able to check in at 9.30 was excellent for us as we had luggage with us as we tarvelled by train.
Bad Points: The room even though we appreciate it is in central Leeds was so noisy we were unable to sleep.
Further Comments: Excellent service and being able to check in early was great but being kept awake all night did put us off staying again.

Good Points: VERY CLOSE TO THE STATION AND ALL THE SHOPPING AND ENTERTAINMENT AREAS OF Leeds.Very well signposted from the station, cant believe some said was difficult to find.Rooms were standard for class and clean.Check in staff friendly.
Bad Points: Lift from entry a bit scary and tv reception thats about it. extra blankets
Further Comments: excellent value for money if you are on business or weekend away or want to combine both.Location to train station,shopping and pubs cant be beat i think.TV recertion is bad but as is so much else to do in Leeds that shouldnt be a problem. Hotel layout could be a prob after a few beers but not really a big drawback.Rooms standard for class.Could maybe do with quilt on bed wa a bit cold.Though my room did have radiators and an extra portable one.

Bad Points: Cleanliness, lift was tempremental, customer service - staff did not enquire about our stay as to whether it was satisfactory or not
Further Comments: The hotel communal areas and room were not as clean as I would expect, the lift was very tempremental and at one point broke down. On checkout the member of staff did not enquire as to our stay, she purely took our keycard and stated 'nothing to pay' - very poor customer relations
