Good Points: Comfortable room, well furnished.
Bad Points: City Inn is a wee bit too far from the city centre for my purposes but would be ideal for anyone visiting the SECC.

Good Points: Very clean and comfortable rooms, everything needed for the business traveller, free broadband in the rooms is a plus, mini bar, CD player, DVD player, room service - all excellent

Further Comments: We booked this hotel because we were at the Take That concert at the SECC, so the location of the hotel was important. Excellent service throughout our staff - all staff very helpful and friendly. Only minus point I would say, was that we felt the ￂﾣ12.50 charge for breakfast was just a bit much (although the breakfast was lovely).

Good Points: The room was excellent with a lovely night-time view of the Clyde, spacious and airy with a large comfortable bed.Excellent shower room.
Further Comments: The only problem we encountered was that our on-line booking never reached the hotel so that when we arrived there was no record even though I had a printed confirmation.. However, the receptionist soon found us a room and gave us one with a nice view of the river without fuss. In future I would ring to confirm the booking before arrival.The restaurant and food were really nice and all the staff were helpful and courteous.

Good Points: The room was great and the setting of the hotel excellent.
Bad Points: I booked dinner at the hotel and chose what was billed as a menu that showcased your chef's cooking. The first course (ceasar salad) had been kept in the fridge so long that it was almost too cold to eat. As a consequence the croutons were soggy. The main course was fine. My desert was meant to be a coconut tart - I complained that I could taste no cocunut and was told twice that it was coconut desert. When I persisted someone finally admitted that the recipe had been wrongly cooked and it fact it was a passion fruit tart! i was surprised that I had to insist before I was taken seriously. I would expect a better level of service from you. I look forward to hearing from you as I really liked the room the rest of the service.

Good Points: Good quick check in freindly staff where the hotel is situated
Further Comments: The room was very comfortable and the view was fantastic over the river. The food on offer was very good as was the service. We noticed that the mini bar in the room was empty although we were asked on check out if we had had anything from it.
