| Good Points: Clean | |||
| Bad Points: Thought it was expensive for the standard. I have stayed in Kensington in similar standard for a cheaper price. | |||
| Further Comments: All in all a clean and efficient hotel. Close to the Tyne and a short walk to centre (up the hill!). As a Yorkshireman, found it expensive for the standard. | |||

||
| Good Points: The spaciousness of the room and the lovely view of the Tyne Bridge | |||
| Further Comments: It was a really pleasant stay. The hotel staff and the accomodation were all excellent! The conceirge, Keith, deserves a special mantion, being so friendly on arrival and very helpful during our stay about local amenities etc. I was very impressed that you provided soya milk at breakfast. As I am a vegan it was great that there was soya for my cornflakes! Well done! | |||

| Bad Points: we were in room 1019.railway line within 50yrds of room, heard every passing train. above our room was a constant humming from either the hotel heating system or air con. mentioned this to reception, looked upon with disdain and told it was an outside problem not hotels.no other rooms available.nothing they could do. little if any sleep. | |||
| Further Comments: 2nd stay at the vermont. 1st was excellent, hence reason for return. never again and will advise our friends to stay away as well. merry xmas tony fenna | |||

||
| Good Points: Free parking. Very attentive and helpful staff. | |||
| Bad Points: I prefer to have a separate shower rather than one over the bath. The water pressure and temperature was very good, but the shower curtain was difficult to keep in place. | |||
| Further Comments: I enjoyed my stay, but I would expect breakfast to have been included in the price of the room at the level of charge you are making. | |||

| Further Comments: information provided by active hotels was very accurate, and if anything the hotel was better. whilst at the hotel many guest that i had the privilege to speak to equally found the hotel exceeded their expectations. My personal opinion is this is the best hotel in Newcastle, and therefore i would not hesitate to recommed the vermont hotel to friends and family | |||

| Good Points: everything | |||
| Further Comments: i would have liked to have know before booking the accomodation that our reservation was in place. As when we arrived at the hotel they had no reservation for us and we had to pay for the room again, in order to secure our stay for the night. | |||

| 19 Leisure Visit - 24/05/06 |
|
||
| Good Points: I thought the staff at the hotel were very friendly | |||
| Bad Points: The room was tiny - and for οΎ£140 I expected a little more luxury too. No bathrobe, cheap toiletries. | |||

|
||
| Good Points: Excellent Location, very clean hotel | |||
| Bad Points: No air conditioning, close to railway line, room decor a little dated | |||
| Further Comments: Excellent quayside/city centre location, friendly staff, great sunday late check-out option. Our room was nice but fairly small, the castle view was excellent but close to the railway line which was noisy when the window was open but not too bad when shut, however air conditioning would have been good. Overall however, very good. | |||
