Good Points: Very little; I can say it was very clean though. All the staff bar one were very friendky, particularly the night porter who was lovely.
Further Comments: I would have liked to have known: That my card will be pre-authorised three days before arriving That we have to pay on arrival, not departure. That this hotel is horrible and I should have carried on looking for another one. The decor is old, and very worn. The shower leaked. The hot tap ran continuously, just under a sign that said water is precious. Every single floorboard creaked, which made coming home later than my roommate very difficult to do without seriously disturbing her. We were directly over the dancefloor; the floorboards shook because the bass was so loud. The bottle bank was directly outside our room, so we had the sound of breaking glass for a while. The beds were truly on the way out, one of them had pretty much collapsed in the middle. One particular staff was so rude on the phone he had ruined the stay before we had even arrived. It was such a shame that our accomodation should end up such an unfortunate part of our wonderful weekend.

Good Points: Bar and restaurant and main areas were ok
Bad Points: The room was small and the en-suite facilities were poor.
Further Comments: The location of the hotel was good. I was not happy to have to pay extra for car parking, this is not usual at most hotels. We felt that the room was not upto the star classification advertised, it was small and the en-suite facilities were very poor. We also believe the windows did not conform to Health and Safety legislation.

Good Points: Quality of fixtures and fittings. Cleanliness. It was quiet
Bad Points: The room was a little bit small
Further Comments: The lift was alittle bit small and a little bit slow. I was not aware that there was a charge for car parking but the price charged was very reasonable. All in all I thought the hotel provided good value for money.

Good Points: Hotel was clean, quiet, comfortable and reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend.
Bad Points: Tiny sink in the bathroom... but that's England for you!
Further Comments: Husband and wife team gave a personal touch and accommodated our whacky schedule with airport transfers to and from Gatwick during the busy holiday season. We were only there for an overnight stay, would like to have stayed longer.

Further Comments: Very happy and pleasant staff, very willing to help at any time. They all seemed interested in us personally. The young waitress that we have met before is so pleasant she cheered us up for the day. Would like a packet of biscuits in room as we arrived.

Bad Points: the boiler room was next door causing the room to vibrate every time the boiler started up, and even for a single room it was very small

Bad Points: POOR STAFF. BROKEN SHOWER IN ROOM, HANGING OFF. UNCOMFORTABLE BED.

Good Points: my double room was quite big. They had a good range of meals when it came to the breakfast.
Bad Points: there was no compliementary shampoo so i couldnt wash my hair when i arrived or the morning after as i was staying for one night i did not have shampoo with me, beds were a bit stiff and made it difficult to sleep
Further Comments: I liked the fact that bed and breakfast was included which made staying at the hotel value for money. I think the hotel could warn you that when it comes to paying by Debit/Credit card they add a surcharge as the price the website gave me was not the actual price i paid in the end and i think adding the surcharge for paying by Debit/Credit card is a bit unfair. Although i only spent one night at the hotel, i had a good experience.

Bad Points: The hotel is in the process of being updated and the room we were allocated had not been updated. Also the room we were given was on the first floor at the top of the stairs so the noise from the bar did disturb us.
Further Comments: In general the Hotel was ideal for our purpose, it was central with easy access to the beach, shops and entertainment without being noisy. It was on an incline and as my husband is an asthmatic it could have been a problem so it would have been nice to know this before arriving. The staff were very welcoming and helpful. The selection of menu for breakfast would suit everyone and there was more than enough to set you up for the day.
