Good Points: Good service by all the staff, particularly check-in staff as I had a problem with the room I was allocated,I was offered another better room without any question.
Bad Points: Although there was a very good choice at breakfast, the hot selection was only warm, in fact the beans were cold.
Further Comments: I only stayed 1 night and eat out so I cannot comment on the restaurant. The general decor looked tired and the shower head and hose in both rooms needed replacing. It was a shame the pool etc. was not open, although this was not the reason I chose the hotel I did take my trunks, there was no mention even on the hotels own web site.Overall my stay was good and I would probibily use the hotel again but only at the discounted rate, ￂﾣ35 for B&B in a Quality Hotel, nearly as good as the prices I pay at Quality hotels in the USA.

Good Points: Good bathroom facilities, very good shower. Good coffee/tea making facilities, digital TV.
Bad Points: Poor mattress, not much space in room.

Bad Points: drab decor in bedroom, Sky TV non operative , room seemed very warm even tho the radiators were switched off ?
Further Comments: staff were good on check -in , decor of hotel was ok however bedroom decor was looking tired needing attention. Pool was out of order which was a pity because I always like a swim. I booked the hotel with my son to attend university interview so it was only a overnight stop and I wouldn't have been pleased if i was staying longer. The breakfast was ok and the staff were very helpful and welcoming. On returning from our only evening out the main hotel door was locked ( midnight ) However the porter opened the door (many thanks to him sry I didn't obtain his name)
