Good Points: Cleanliness, facilities, grounds, staff & service all a very high standard.
Bad Points: This high level of standard comes at a price.
Further Comments: Peaceful, relaxing stay in one of the best area's of the New Forest. Balcony room overlooking lovely gardens, included facilities and service very good, room and corridors a tad on the warm side. Hotel combines new with old traditional and a hint of Thai very well. Extra treatments, meals & beverages on a par with London - Very pricey! Would liked to have stayed longer.

Further Comments: Paid for breakfast but was not allowed cooked breakfast before 08:00. Needed breakfast at 07:30 so only received cold breakfast. Would like to have known this before booking.

Good Points: We loved the accommodation, room was spacious
Further Comments: We had a gardenroom which was spacious. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. We used the spa which was wonderful. In all we had 3 good days there and would go again.

Good Points: the accommodation was very clean and homely, great value for money.
Further Comments: really enjoyed oue stay, we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived, all the staff were very helpful. the facilities were second to none and all very clean.

Good Points: There was a slight mix up over my name when we arrived as you had registered me as Ronald Henry when my name is in fact Ronald Henry Lane. The hotel did not sort this out immendiately because we arrived at 11-30pm rather than 8-00pm due to bad road conditions. However, we were given a top room and the correct room the following morning.
Bad Points: Nothing, it was all excellent.
Further Comments: The hotel was much better than we anticipated and the spa treatments and rooms were excellent. There was a little mix up over my name but the hotel coped with this well.

Further Comments: The hotel is convenient for Southampton Airport and yet within rural environs. Access to the motorway is quick. The hotel has a mix of the old and the new which blends well together. The choice of dining experience and excellent food provided the variety we were looking for during a limited timed stay.

Good Points: Very pleasant good sized room with balcony overlooking pleasant gardens. Tea/coffee making facilities provided + safe for valuables.
Bad Points: Room very hot at night had to leave windows and door to balcony open.
Further Comments: Staff were very preoccupied with a wedding so our lunch ordered from the bar took a while to arrive. We were most disappointed with a very boring sandwich containing hardly any filling at ￂﾣ6.95 and the prawn salad at the outrageous price of ￂﾣ12.95 consisted of some mixed leaves with a few prawns scattered over with no dressing. We had to ask for condiments and the appropriate garnishes which should have arrived on our plates. Dreadful cost for what was provided. The leisure facilities and pool were excellent. An evening meal at Blaireaus restaurant was very good and the host charming. The breakfast included in the price of our stay was either served to the table or buffet style. We opted for the latter which was extremely good and there were fresh field mushrooms, not the usual tinned button variety nearly always served these days. Altogether a most pleasant stay.
