Good Points: The facilities were good and the hotel is in a central location for most attractions in the city
Bad Points: The room was next to a very busy road and the noise kept us awake both nights
Further Comments: I think that we should have been warned about the level of noise in the room from the road as we have a young child who found it difficult to sleep. The reception staff were helpful although our room was not ready when we checked in which was a nuisance.

Good Points: Proximity to Millenium Stadium and all bars, eateries, etc.
Bad Points: price of the breakfast.
Further Comments: The purpose of our weekend away was to have a few beers and attend the Wales vs Ireland soccer match. The Angel Hotel was perfect for both activities. Staff were extremely friendly, courteous and on occassion actively went out of their way to make our stay more pleasant. The location of the hotel is ideal and the cleaniness of the room exemplarary. In short, I would definitely stay here again and would recommend it to others.

Good Points: The location of the hotel for the stadium and city centre is excellent
Bad Points: The room was tiny.
Further Comments: The hotel is in a fantastic location for the stadium and city centre. The twin room we were in was very small. The cost of the room without breakfast was in our opinion very expensive. Would recommend the hotel for location but not for value for money.

Good Points: Great location, near to shops, pubs, stadium, directly opposite the castle. Easy access to teh bay etc.
Bad Points: Slightly noisey at night as its on a main road.
Further Comments: This hotel is ina great location with easy access to everything you could need. A short five minute walk from the train station, near all local facilities. Staff were friendly and helpful. Room had great viws of Cardiff Castle. Will stay here again.

Good Points: Room was very nice, view over Cardiff Castle was excellent.
Bad Points: Hotel was very hot, glad own room had air conditioning.

Good Points: The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning made the room a pleasure to sleep in.
Bad Points: Some of the main reception areas, corridors and landings were showing signs of age. e g threadbare carpet on stairs, and discoloured wallpaper on the walls.
Further Comments: I think the hotel is showing signs of wear in the public areas, although the staff were very helpful at all times and nothing was too much trouble. The car park was dissappointing when paying ￂﾣ5 for it as the spaces were very scarce and very small.

Further Comments: This Paramont hotel is situated in the centre of Cardiff convenient to the main city centre tourist areas. Car paring is difficult when arriving early and even during the evening the small car park is very tight. In the rooms accomodating ourselves and the public rooms we used all were very tired and in need of redecoration and general maintenace. Breakfast was dissappointing however the service cheerful and attentive. The whole experience was not what we had expected from a 4 star Paramont Hotel and their usual high standards of furnishing, general cleanliness, quality of food and detail were all missing.
