The Stag at Redhill has a long and distinguished history. It started life as Stratfordâs court room and jail, very evident when you walk around and see the original cell door and many of the original cell windows cast in iron.
Now The Stag is a traditional inn with original features preserved as best they could. We have a traditional bar, a carvery available Saturday and Sunday lunch times as well as our full menu and specials boards. The menu is just as welcoming. Whether itâs dinner for 2 or more, a relaxed Sunday roast or a business lunch, thereâs something wholesome and delicious to suit. The excellent childrenâs menu will have younger guests licking their lips as well, and there will be a whole host of special daily menus and themed evenings happening throughout the week
