White Mill is in a beautiful location, alongside the River Stour, with a riverside picnic area nearby.
The present cornmill dates from around 1776, but an earlier mill on the site is recorded in the Domesday Book.
In 1994, the mill was extensively repaired, and much of the original machinery, in elm andapplewood remains, although it is too fragile to be operated.
White Mill is by guided tour only and numbers may be restricted.
Wheelchair access to the ground floor with a viewing platform and mirrors enabling the disabled to see most of the upper floors.
