Victoria Art Gallery is divided into three sections covering Oil Paintings, Bath in Art, and Decorative Art and Sculpture.
Around 80 oil paintings are on display in the upper gallery and include work by Whistler, Thangue, Barker and Horsley. More paintings can be seen in the Guildhall and Assembly Rooms.
Bath in Art is a collection of work that reflects the history of Bath as a spa town in the 18th century with paintings by Turner, Nixon, Nash and Rowlandson.
Decorative Art and Sculpture includes 18th century wine glasses, Delftware, bohmeian glass and a collection of over 150 Staffordshire figures of dogs.A collection of plaster, marble and bronze sculptures are also on display, along with a musical altar clock, known as the Litchfield Clock.
