Quayside Gallery was founded in 1996 to promote contemporary original art from international sources. We do this at two levels: in St Ives we select and support mostly local artists for whom we hold both mixed and one or two person shows, interspersed with affordable paintings from favoured artists in Holland, Italy, India, and France; on the wider stage we promote the works of selected artists internationally. These artists, shown mostly in London at present, but with shows planned for India and the USA, are Michael Randall (UK), Magda Zimmerman (Netherlands), Armand Berthe and Toupillier (both French), Binoy Verghese and S G Vasudev (both Indian. The gallery deals in paintings (any medium) drawings, sculpture, ceramics, collage, textiles and photographs. All works by our selected international artists are paintings in oil, acrylic or gouache.
