Early clubhouses at Denton didn't fare too well. The first clubhouse was built in 1911, largely of timber construction, but was completely destroyed by fire in 1922 along with the first 13 years club records.
Within a year a new clubhouse was constructed which survived until 1940 when a German bomb destroyed it! Due to wartime shortages, Denton was without a clubhouse for another 10 years, being finally rebuilt in 1950. The present clubhouse dates from 1998.
Like many courses in the area, Denton has been effected by major roadworks over the years, leading to several redesigns.
