Bromyard Downs overlook Bromyard itself and offer varied and interesting walks. A single car park is located next to a pub, with a number of smaller off road parking spaces dotted around. It wasn't that long ago that the entire slope of the downs was open to cars and would be almost entirely covered on Bank Holidays.
There are 2 short woodland walks along the top of the ridge, and you can walk the areas that seperate the houses at the lower edge of the downs.
In the Area. Bromyard has an interesting Heritage Centre telling something of the history of hop picking in the area. Brigsty Common and Lower Brockhampton (NT) are a couple of minutes up the A44, both of which are well worth a visit.
