Room was generally too hot and lounge bar too cold

Staff and breakfast was excellent

The lift needs a make over the door is not pleasant to look at. Some areas of the hotel need to be freshened up.

"Well located for walking to the Royal Crescent, The Circle and Assembly Rooms. Breakfast was great and the service wonderful. Excellent value for money."

Recently renovated the room was stylish, elegant yet the facilities such as bathroom which was very big were modern and up to date. Having our own little courtyard with french doors was charming. the breakfast was lovely and it was nice to have the hot food freshly prepared, even taking the rind of the bacon!

Need to be ambulant as there it is a bit of labyrinth with numerous stairs. The only other comment is that the carpet in the common area landing on the 2nd floor needs replacing as it has a bit of an odour.

"Good hotel - would recommend"

Efficiently welcomed at Reception - useful advice re parking, transport to town. Additional item provided at breakfast on request Room quiet and comfortable - hotel a beautiful Georgian building

Ordered a newspaper - this not supplied Room was very far distant from reception, and a good deal of stair climbing involved
