    Everything was great. I had been concerned re possible noise as the hotel was situated close to a major airport, but there wasn't a sound during the night. Staff were friendly and helpful.

    The only concern was the directions to the hotel from the airport terminal. I had to pay extra to get a taxi to take me there instead of a shuttle bus, simply because I didn't know there WAS a shuttle bus.

    "Brand new hotel. Comfortable room and an easy walk from the terminal building. All good except noisy aircon."

    Brand new. Spacious rooms. Modern LCD TV

    Air conditioning system is very noisy but had to be used as hotel is very warm.

    "Very professional and helpful staff."

    Fabulous hotel, the room was fantastic and the nicest bed I have ever had in a hotel, just fantastic! Very good price for the room and loved that I could book in advance and not have to pay in advance which is not the case with most other on-line hotel web-sites!

    I would have got an even better rate had I booked more in advance, but that was my own fault, I won't make that mistake again!!!!

    In addition to the above high marks, the man at the check-in counter was very helpful in getting me connected to the Internet. Was unable from our room.

    I thought the charge for Internet service was excessive. Some of the personnel working in the restaurant had body odor. Not Good!

    The receptionists and waiters in the restaurant couldn't have been more helpful or pleasant. Very customer service oriented.Top marks. Very conveniently located with easy airport transportation. Top marks for cleanliness. Also a comfortable bed. The room was attractively priced.

    Due to newness of the facility, the room telephones did not work for outside calls and the dead bolt on the door also did not work. There were towels hung in the bathroom for only one guest we found more in the armoire the following morning and bathroom toilletries for only one guest. Also the unusual coffee maker had inadequate instructions. I'm sure these small details will be remedied as the newness of the facility subsides. .

    Brand new hotel in excellent location for gatwick Airport.Good menu for a short stay. Large well equipped rooms. 24 hour check out for early flights.

    Rather expensive bar prices.

    Lobby and room were clean and up-to-date

    Hotel advertises itself as being in the South Terminal, which it is not. Had I known this, I would have paid slightly more to stay at the Hilton. Further, after the long walk there with my luggage, staff advised me to take the shuttle in the morning, but didn't mention there was a charge to do so. Computers in lobby were not working.

    "An excellent stop-over hotel within walking distance of the South Terminal. We would definately stay there again if in transit."

    The hotel is new and is really lovely. Very clean and smart.

    Staff are obviously settling in. The check-in process took a good while. The restaurant staff looked nervous and we waited quite a while for drinks.

    "Very delighted! After a long journey to the airport it was so nice to relax and enjoy a good night's sleep before travelling to North America the next day."

    Convenience to airport. Ease of locating on-line. Cleanliness of hotel and comfortable furnishings - especially the bed. Noiseless. How nice to have receptionist ask if we wished for dinner reservations.

    On line booking might detail the close proximity to the airport to avoid lengthy wait for transfer bus. We waited approx. 45 mins and were transported to North Terminal and then back to hotel. The walk would have been easy, had we known how to access to route.

    Friendly atmosphere, extremely helpful receptionists

    Had to wait to get served after sitting down in bar area, although there were waiters serving the tables, and ended up having to get up and go to the bar itself to get attention

    Spacious room with kingsize bed and lots of good quality pillows. Clean and brand new hotel. Good quality bathroom fittings, TV etc. Good value and quality restaurant with good and pleasant service.

    Check in could have been more welcoming, they failed to explain properly where lift was and no signage. Restaurant menu not available on reception could have consulted this during wait. Failed to deliver wake up call. No signage or instructions in room on use of equipment eg: phone unusual operation as required pressing "message" key before pressing reception key, plug on washbasin which had to be pressed to open. Shower screen lacked seal at bottom edge so water from shower went all over the floor! I would have preferred to have had a bath, but the bath seemed greasy, possibly residue of cleaning product not properly rinsed off. Rather noisy air conditioning/heating system. Waiter insisted that I gave room number and signed for meal even though I paid cash and he failed to give me a receipt. I think this was more down to inadequate training and procedures than any fault on his part.

    Convienient to airport , we walked there from the terminal just to get some fresh air. Internet price for the stay was good . Enjoyed the food in the bar although food and drink are a bit pricey

    Cuando llegamos al hotel, a pesar de que habíamos ya pagado la habitación, nos mandaron a otro hotel que estaba a diez minutos en taxi y que era de peores condiciones. Los trabajadores del hotel no hablan español con lo que tuvimos que entender todo en inglés. Al día siguiente, el taxi nos trasladó de nuevo al hotel, donde debían pagarles la carrera, y estuvimos diez minutos discutiendo porque la señorita de la recepción decía que no.
