"We enjoyed our stay. The hotel was on the same street as my daughter's apartment, so visiting was easy. It was comfortable and also convenient to everything in Bath -- shopping, sight-seeing and transportation."
The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was attractive, and the breakfast was varied and tasty and served in a welcoming room with a great view.
Some rooms were nicer than others. Our original room was a little dingy and overlooked the back alleyway. When we discovered that the toilet didn't work, we were moved to a similar room, which looked much nicer and had a wonderful view of the river. Also, there is a lot of noise starting around 11:00 p.m. when busloads of college kids get dropped of right in front of the hotel to go to one of the several bars on North Parade Street.

"Good - will recommend and return when possible"
Clean fresh, unpretentious and good value for money
Top of bed under eaves meant I could not comfortably sit up in bed to read.

"Would not stay there again."
Hotel is in a good location to all the sites.
For the money I expected a much nicer room, it was a three star hotel with a four star price. The continental breakfast was very basic also. Overall I was very let down, I expected nicer.

There was a lot of noise from the nightclub downstairs. The noise didn't stop until around 3am. It is completely unacceptable to charge these rates when there is that level of noise.

"The city is in walking distance, having found the tourist brochure and map, most places can be visited on foot. I will keep the contact details, and recommend Parade Park to a group of my friends at home who may visit Bath to do sight-seeing."
When booking online, thank you for phoning to confirm the booking and schedule time of arrival. The staff were friendly and clear about the procedures upon arrival, and welcoming at breakfast time. I came to stay 1 night, before attending a wedding on the next day. The Bedside Browser book was excellent in content, and together with leisure brochures, I used my time to walk around South East Bath. I explored the Abbey, the shops in a few streets, the glass blowing shop, gardens and the river Avon. The room was in good condition for the evening spent watching BBC Comic Relief. Tea-making facilities and bar downstairs were excellent. The bed was comfortable for sleeping. Nice view from the window, onto the gardens.
Because I was going to a wedding, I was surprised not to find ironing facilities. If available by asking, please state this in the Bedroom browser. The wardrobe smell was well polished, but thankfully this did not affect my clothes. Also the shower has a temperature control, but I could not find the tap switch for turning on the water. I may have simply missed it & could have appreciated instructions either in the Bedroom Browser or the room.

"We had a wonderful stay in this beautiful hotel. We very much enjoyed our stay."
We lucked out and were upgraded to a huge, lovely room. The room was great, the view was wonderful, the staff was welcoming and helpful we were allowed to check in an hour early, and the breakfast was delicious and varied and served in a lovely room with a great view. We were close to all the attractions in Bath, and the train station was within easy walking distance.
There was quite a bit of noise when the college kids started arriving by busloads to the nightclubs on this street. Also, the climb up to the third floor of the hotel was a little daunting.
