"Excellent rememberance of our stay in BourneBeat."
The interior was awesome and the room we all got was really really good. I would recommend my friends to stay in same hotel if they go Bournemouth.
Breakfast was cold.

"The hotel has deteriorated since last year and I shan't stay there again."
The hotel was well heated and has a 'certain charm'.
The hotel is very dilapidated and has deteriorated since my last visit. They no longer offer cooked breakfasts. The shower in my room didn't work properly. During my stay I was quite badly bitten by either fleas or bedbugs on my arms - couldn't have been anything else as due to cold weather the only time my arms were uncovered was in bed. During one night there was a near-riot when a group of young people, drunk and perhaps drugged, came into the hotel and were, I think from the noise in the bar, allowed to continue drinking. They frightened other guests by braking doors and furniture but the police were not called until the next day. Some electrical fittings were bordering on dangerous.

"Fair. Check-out at 6pm meant missing breakfast, which I mentioned to the front desk upon checking in. A portion of fruit/ yoghurt etc would have been welcome."
Excellent front desk service from lady at check-in and then later from scottish gentleman who arranged taxi.
Two separate incidents where a group of hotel guests had a very loud, lengthy conversation outside my door in the early hours of the morning.

"The hotel has a good situation and the rooms are adequate. It is a little old-fasioned and shabby. Some refurbishment is desperately needed."
Proximity of areas I wished to visit.
Very noisy at night with parties arriving from town at 3:00 or4:00 a.m. There was supposed to be 24 hour cover on Reception but there was no attempt to get thhe guests to keep the noise down.

"A good overnight stay for the price"
very helpful staff and lovely breakfast
We had to be moved to a different room because of a faulty lock on the door, but the second lock was also 'tempremental'

"The hotel is in a good location but on the weekend we were there, it seemed to have a lot of stag groups, so if you are there as a couple not a great place to be."
Hotel is a good location and has a great view of the sea and pier.
Room was not cleaned during the stay. Room was very warm and we couldn't open the windows to let air in.

"We were looking for a cheap good hotel for a couple of nights and the Bournebeat suited our needs exactly. We were ideally suited for the Pavillion Theatre shops and beach."
the staff were friendly and efficient. the hotel was adequate for a cheap couple of nights while we went to a show. Beds comfortable and breakfast was full English with good choice of cereals, yohurts and juices.
carpet in shower room should be pulled up as it creates smell and the shower was very poor. Not suitable for people who can't cope with stairs, even if lift working there were stairs up to door and stairs immediately inside that had to be climbed.

Inexpensive basic accommodation. Good breakfast.
Noisy at night. Couldn't get TV to work.

The lock at the room was not functioning, took at least 5 min to get into the room each time, the staff said all locks are similar without offering any help. Dated furniture.

"I would never stay here again, or recommend this hotel to anyone. Not worth "
Near the sea and town centre.
Visa card machine didn't work, had to go to town and get cash, no reciept given despite requesting one. Room was dusty, tired and shabby. Walls were the thinnest of any building I have ever stayed in. Window catches broken. Lino dirty. Moldy bathroom. Shower poor, doors broken. Offered an early breakfast if requsted, but had no staff and no idea we had requested it despite having booked this with two members of staff the prev night. All in all...useless.

"Because of the steep hill, I was only able to go out once a day. But proximity to both the sea and the town made this acceptable. I enjoyed the fact that a DVD player was provided - I had a splendid time watching a whole series of 'Becker'!"
friendly staff freshly cooked, generous breakfast
I chose this hotel as it mentiuoned a bath, rather than shower, on your website - I was disappointed to find a tiny shower I could barely squeeze my body into! This hotel is at the top of a VERY steep hill - it may be worth mentioning this for less-abled potential guests. My favourite thing of the whole stay was that the hand towel was a bath towel torn in half - and not even hemmed!

"The Bournebeat is still replacing or repairing some aspects of its old "Inver House Hotel" former image, eg. our broken shower fittings. However, everything worked except the lift on our overnight stay. We enjoyed the bar-lounge, our large sunny en-suite bedroom, and our breakfast. We were comfortable and well-looked after. All good value, and within a few minutes walk of the cliff-top, the beach, or the International Centre."
Good position near beach & town centre. Private car park. Comfortable B & B. Some large bedrooms, well-equipped. Interesting decor in public areas Musical Memorabilia. Satisfactory breakfast. Staff obviously do a good job.
The only lift - serving four floors - was out of order during the weekend.

"A good autumn break. The immediate booking same day on the internet allowed a good break with no long term planning."
Very good breakfast. Excellent location for coast, beach and town centre. Free parking after check out time. Efficient and pleasant office staff.
Room was rather dark - would have preferred a duvet to the sheets and blankets bed that we had.
