"I really enjoyed it. Just close enough to all the sites. Very comfortable room."
We had a Minster view room and it was lovely. The bathroom was really nice. The room was extremely comfortable. The breakfast are the best I have ever had in a hotel.
Cant really think of any apart from the car park but you know about this before you get there.

"THE BREAKFAST WAS PLENTIFUL AND THE SITE IS HANDY FOR YORK CITY CENTRE. OUR TWIN ROOM WAS AT THE TOP OF 2 VERY STEEP STAIRCASES, SO NOT EASY WITH A SUITCASE."
STAFF WERE FRIENDLY
THE TWIN ROOM WAS BADLY DESIGNED - THE WC IN ONE ROOM, THE WARDROBE IN THE BATHROOM. IT WAS VERY CRAMPED AND ALL MIRRORS WERE AT WAIST HEIGHT. WHEN WE CAME BACK AT 10.40PM THE HOTEL WAS IN DARKNESS SO WE HAD NO OPPORTUNITY TO USE THE BAR THAT NIGHT ALTHOUGH IT IS ADVERTISED AS OPEN UNTIL THE LAST GUEST LEAVES. WHEN MY HUSBAND REQUESTED AN EXTRA SHEET IN PLACE OF THE DUVET IT WAS PROMISED BUT NEVER APPEARED AND THE ROOM AT THE TOP OF THE BUILDING WAS VERY HOT.

"I would definately recommend this hotel. We had the family room which was lovely with a four poster bed. It is very near the Minster and everything is within walking distance."
The hotel was lovely and the staff were friendly. The accomodation was clean and well presented. the breakfast choice was excellent and the food in the evening was lovely
Service in the restaurant in the evening was a bit leisurely. the car park is a bit small but the arrangements were very good.

The staff were really friendly. The hotel was clean, warm and close to the town centre, river & minister. The room was huge! Food fantastic both dinner & breakfast!
Didn't have a minister view as booked & Spa bath didn't work. Car parking poor but this is mainly due to the location being town centre.

"Hotel was situated in a quite side street but only minutes away from the centre of York. The evening meals were superb especially the roast beef. Would certainly stay there again."
Excellent location good breakfast and very friendly and helpful staff.

Close to Minster
Very cramped room with smell of kitchen pervading through both room and en-suite. Ensuite vary small. No good for access to rooms for people with walking difficulties, narrow and steep stairs, no lift.
