A MENU AT BREAKFAST WOULD HAVE BEEN APPRECIATED AS THE WAITRESS JUST ASKED IF WE KNEW WHAT WE WANTED BUT WE DIDN'T KNOW WHAT WAS AVAILABLE.

"Fine for one night but I didn't sleep very well due to the traffic noise. The only reason why I wouldn't stay at this hotel again was purely because of its location and the noise of the traffic, everthing else was fine. "
Guest rooms appear to have been completely refurbished and so were very clean and nicely decorated. Good sized room with nice furnishings and good, modern bathroom. Good breakfast although this was in addition to the room cost which made the overall stay quite expensive for what it was. I stayed at a Holiday Inn recently near Leeds for only £7 more than I paid for this hotel, which was the cost for 2 of us, included breakfast for 2 and also the use of all their leisure facilities. So in relation to this I don't think it's that good value for money.
The hotel is situated over a tapas bar/restaurant which certainly wasn't noisy during the week. However, it is in a very central location on a busy road and as the rooms weren't double glazed the sound of the passing traffic was very noisy until late at night and started again early morning.

Location
Noise on some nights even long after the pub had closed. Lack of facilities - was not told how to get hold of staff should I need help. No telephone in the room, poor lighting over the desk, broken shelf in bathroom.

Very enjoyable food in tapas bar served by really pleasant and helpful young people. Super breakfasts. New bathrooms.
The windows need some kind of noise reduction, although the traffic noise outside disappeared after about 11 pm.
