Breakfast was the best I've ever had. The accomodation was exceptionally clean and tidy. Staff very curteous and helpful.
The town is very quiet, only one pub not serving meals. Very few places to visit without driving.

Spacious room, modern decor,all modern amenities supplied. Wonderful food prepared by excellent chef words escape me. Never had a better hotel traditional English breakfast hot plates & local fresh produce. The quality of kippers were not far behind either. Evening meals were exquisite cooked to perfection. The hotel is a little gem!
Some construction work but owners Andrea & Kevin made up for this in terms of personal service

The hotel room was very comfortable, and Andrea, the co owner was friendly, and attentive. She made us feel welcome, and even gave my partner a card and small gift for her birthday. I have never tasted such excellent food. We are recommending this guest house to all persons we know.Outstanding.

"Hotel was conveniently situated for the town, although there isn't much of a nitelife in the town itself. Not far from the lakes and a great view of the sea."
Was a lovely warm atmosphere, friendly staff who made us feel very welcome and keen to please. Would reccommend hotel.
The room was a little cramped for space with our walking and climbing gear but suffiicient for our needs and very clean and warm.
