"Good, Internet signal good so can work too"

Nice ambience, a little quirky in that it is an old building

    Parking can be an issue

"The stay was excellent made by the wonderfull rooms and buildings, cant fault the evening....only the morning waiting around and constantly asking for things, and although the Manager acknowledged this on departure i dare say this wouldnt happen if you didnt have to pay on arrival."

Room and general building, including bar area excellent....great location too.

Had to wait over an hour for our breakfast in the morning, and it wasnt really worth the wait!! we were also constantly asking for cups/saucers, coffee, tea...sugar and milk.

Central to Lancaster. Only downside is the parking. Would recommend to friends.

Everyone was very helpful and friendly making our stay memorable. The room was to a high standard and I can understand why the Bar was so popular with such a wide choice of ales. We chose this Hotel becuase it was central to Lancaster centre and close to both rail and bus stations.

I suppose my only minor complaint was that we were unable to get any Bar meals after 7pm.

"The stay was excellent but the hotel a little difficult to find for someone unfamiliar with the streets of Lancaster"

Quality and comfort with additional benefits of excellent food and variety of good real ales

    Nowhere easy to park

"Have stayed in nicer hotels, but the suite was nice and comfortable. Would definately book a hotel with a seperate reception in future."

    Room was well presented..

Reception was in a busy bar, not good fighting your way through with loads of cases and very tired. No room service... fight your way to the bar if you think a bottle of wine to relax is worth it!!!!
