The Airport Shuttle Service was very good and staff very friendly. We also enjoyed our meal in the restaurant.

Staff very helpful and welcoming
Room had no window - how does this even comply with fire regulations? Noisy room - could hear next door talking all night, no air conditioning and hot night - boiling hot in room despite ceiling fan which was too noisy to have on during night time.

"It was a pleasant and relaxing experience. I will surely recommend this hotel to relatives and friends."
The staff were very friendly, corteous and accomodating. Contrary to some comments posted on the internet, the facilities available were more than adequate. The bathroom was in excellent condition with newly installed bathtub.
The hotel is far from central London and it takes a 15 minute walk to get to the nearest train station but this is more than compensated by the very accomodating nature of the staff who is more than willing to fetch you to and from the airport whenever you go to the city. We even watch theater and they fetch us from Gatwick airport late at night!

We are a large family on a tight budget and there are not many hotels available where you can all share one room. it becomes very expensive when you have to start booking multiple rooms

The hotel had a lot of character and the staff was wonderful. The bus stop was right near by and the shuttle to the airport was great. Enjoyed the optional, full, breakfast
The bathrooms need some personal items, like shampoo and bar soap.

The rooms were small, and the second time we stayed the room was not finished there were plug points hanging out the walls!

"I would have asked for a room with windows, but apart from that the hotel is ideal for overnight stay, there is a good free service shuttle from the hotel to departures and arrivals. We stayed both ends of our holiday and were pleased with the efficient ,friendly service by all the staff. We were made to feel welcome and at home. We will certainly use the hotel when next travelling from Gatwick."
very good value if you want car parking for duration of holidays/business trip. The food is fresh and cooked perfectly.
Our room was very small and only window was a sky light.

"Staff were all fantastic. Really tried to make my stay as pleasant as possible; from the airport pick up and drop off, to check in to serving at breakfast. All kind and very helpful. Hotel could use a little sprucing up, but very good value. I was a little late for breakfast, but staff continued with a real 'can do' sense of service. Hotel should supply phone no. at airport courtesy phone at least I couldn't find it. If I hadn't brought the number and my mobile with me, I couldn't have gotten the courtesy coach."
Great staff, all very helpful. Among the best I've ever experienced.

It was confortable
There is building work going which I was not told about beforehand, it was very noisy until 11.00pm. The reception for the television was poor.

"I was comfortable but did not feel relaxed. The general feeling of the hotel was not one of welcome and warmth. Although I had value for money 39.00 room only I was not left with a desire to stay at the Cambrudge again."
The hotel was clean and the staff were were friendly and gave good service. My meal in the restaurant was fair. the menu was extensive.
I did not receive my early morning call - not good when you have to leave for the airport at 6.000am. The hotel was very quiet and yet in the restaurant and at the bar, staff had to be called to serve. I feel that condiering the number of guests eating in the restaurant 2 others beside myself the menu was too large to give one confidence in the use of fresh as apposed to frozen food, and hence quallity and tast suffer.
