"If rooms improved, would be very good."
The staff were very, very pleasant, helpful and highly efficient. A well-oiled machine! Good value food.
The rooms are in desperate need of refurbishing.

"Good location, helpful friendly staff, lift a bit small when trying to get wheelchair plus individual and 'carer' in, food good, generally a hotel for over 50's I would say. No problem for us as we'd taken my grandmother for her 97th birthday."
The staff were most helpful with my 97 year old grandmother !!
The entrance to the hotel does not have a ramp access, which made it quite frustrating trying to get a 97 year old up the steps.

"Having read some of the reviews before going, but after booking, I was a little apprehensive. I could understand the remarks about the carpets etc, as to be truthful, the hotel is a bit tired and needs quite a bit of money spent on it to upgrade it, but found all clean. As regards the friendliness and efficiency of the staff, I could not fault it, quite laid back, but very helpful I thought. Even though busy, breakfast came with no delays. Probably a bit overpriced for what it was, but it was Blackpool in the illuminations season."
Roomy room, nice bathrom and sea-view
Decor a bit old, place in need of upgrading
