The television plug points were turned off without us knowing meaning someone had entered our room at least twice a day unknown to us.

"We did enjoy the stay overnight. The lady proprietor was very professional, hospitable and friendly, and the breakfast was lovely. GOOD All ROUND!!"
The hotel was in need of decorating as it was old fashioned, but overall it was tidy and clean, the areas that we used. The full english breakfast was GREAT!!as was the service/hospitality by the owner, at all times.
The only bad point was the light above the bathroom handwashbasin did not work, which caused a problem whilst shaving, and the shower tray and soap dish in the shower cubicle, were dirty with scum, which I had to wipe off with a tissue. The carpet in the shower/toilet area was rather grubby and unhygienic. My own cleanliness standards are high, but obviously when booking over the net one has to trust information given on the hotel website, as many hotels do not have a 360 degree view.

"We got lost and the owner Sue guided us straight to the door by phone!!! Room was clean and warm with wine and chocs. All the people we met couldnt have been nicer. We were made to feel really welcome. We were booked day tidckets by Sue for use at the pleasure beach.we would have paid more if we hadnt pre-booked Really enjoyed our short stay and have already discussed going again. A fantastic, friendly hotel. A++++"

the hotel owner was very helpful and made our stay as enjoyable as possible.
The hotel could do with a re-vamp decor wise the rooms were rather dated and carpet in a bathroom is never a good idea

"Fantastic value for money. Great location on the promenade. We saw other young couples as well as families staying at the same time as us. Can't fault it. Loads of stuff to do in Blackpool, especially with the illuminations! I woul definately stay again!"
Very friendly owner, clean, good breakfast and excellent value for money!
The door to the bathroom was slightly too big, so it took a little kick to close it properly
