"Although there were two weddings on we were not disturbed at all and had a very relaxing night’s sleep. We had a problem with the hot water in our room as we were getting ready to go out for the evening but the duty manager was quick to look at the problem and it was solved by the time we returned later that night. All the staff were very friendly and helpful especially the porter who's name I didn’t catch. The room was lovely and the fluffy toy on the bed was a nice touch."
Friendly staff, breakfast was good.
We chose the hotel for the leisure facilities but found the pool to be full of children so it wasnt very relaxing. Hot water wasnt working in our room.

"hotel very comfortable and clean ,but the main reason for choosing this hotel was the resturant and menu looked very good ,this was spoilt due to the crying children"
good clean hotel with a lot to offer
book a table in the resturant for 8.00pm ,menu looked very good as did the decor of the resturant. First 1st hour spent listening to 2 very young children screaming and crying ,which meant our quite expensive meal with wine was spoilt. I would have expected some rules to be set ,which meant that people with young children either hasd to be out of the resturant by a certain time ora different area was available for people to sit ,without being subjected to children.

"This is a lovely hotel with professional and freindly staff. It is well worth paying the extra for a luxury studio room. There is a large indoor pool and gym and a heated hot tub outside. The food there is excellent we had dinner and breakfast and was very pleased with both. "
It was a fantastic luxury studio room and very spacious with a kingsize bed and a huge bathroom
The underfloor heating in the bathroom did not seem to get that warm but fortunatly the whole studio was very warm anyway so didn't realy need it

Very convenient for lancaster University
My only complaint is thet the room key card did not work first time and I had to return to reception for it to be reprogrammed.

Hotel is set in nice countryside. Although next to University it was very quiet during summer holidays tho The rooms are good size, clean and very comfortable. We also booked a room for our son to join us for one night and his room was much nicer than ours !!
The noise from the passing trains could be a problem to some. We also had trouble finding the hotel coming in from the Morecambe end.

Location excellent for Lancaster Uni graduation - actually ajoins the uni - the ambience of the hotel friendly helpful staff, made graduation stay/day very relaxing and special.

The room was spacious, comfortable and well-designed for the business traveller. Leisure facilities were excellent.
No hook for the towel by the sink.
