Directions on the internet to the are hotel wrong! They are opposite from the North and from the South, they need to be changed!

Room was spacious and very clean.
Breakfast was served until 11am on Sunday, however, at 1015am the breakfast items were running low and staff failed to replenish them resulting in a limited choice for breakfast.

"Overall had a lovely stay and the staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was quite disappointing although there was a lot of choice it wasnt of a high quality and wasnt very fresh, the toaster was rubbish and we had to put the bread through 4 times to get toast instead of warmed bread. We had been looking forward to breakfast but we were very under whelmed."

The staff were excellent.
Some of the Hotel was looking a little tired. We stayed there a few times many years ago when I believe it was the Post House.

"Not one to be repeated"
Tired room, smelt of stale smoke but was supposed to be a non smoking room. Tiles in bathroom falling off the wall. Thin walls and ceiling made for a noisy night.

"The first thing I noticed was the size of my room. For £40 a night me and my girlfriend were both expecting something smaller, but the room was a great size, and everything in the room was lovely and clean, and well maintained. The room service always arrived promptly, even at 1am, and all of the food was lovely and suitably priced. The breakfast was a nice touch, and all of the staff were lovely."

"I felt the cost of dinner was excessive for what it was. Mushroom soup, sirloin steak - boiled potatoes very dry should have had butter on them. mass produced Bread and butter pudding and one pint of beer over £31"

Easy to find off the motorway making it an ideal stop-over
Unfortunately we did experience quite a lot of noise from fellow guests as our room seemed to be near the outside smoking area, and I think that there was a dog pacing in the room above well into the early hours!

the staff was brilliant especially the bar staff my partener and i was so tired we wanted our dinner earlier than you actually started it but your guy behind the bar said no problem and asked the chef to serve ours ! i will definately stay again and thank you all for a wonderfull stay !
i can say the the only thing i noticed was little simple things like attention to detail that could be looked at but please dont be offended by this suggestion !!
