Location,breakfast,warm room,

conflicting prices between telephone enquiry and internet room could have been cleaner.

Staff were very helpful. The manager was very nice made me feel welcome and offered assistance should I need it.

There werent any bad points. The room served the purpose it was booked for.

DIDN'T GET THE OPTION OF PAYMENT JUST TOOK THE PAYMENT OFF MY CARD THAT I RESERVED WITH SO I PAYED FOR THE OTHER GUESTS STAYING WITH US ASWELL.

Not aware of night club open until 2pm. Dirty shower conditions; shower held together with cable ties; Rooms cramped and stuffy

"Cheap and cheerfull, great if your deaf, during the middle of the week would be fine. Partly the hotels doing as they have a late opening nightclub in the place however to be fair this is mentioned in the website, so young clubbers out for a night yes, older folk wanting a nights sleep no. "

nice room, compact but adequate, clean, breakfast was ok, nothing to rave about. The price was right-very reasonable for an overnight stay.

The NOISE, Friday night right outside your window was just awfull, if you can sleep through an earthquake no problems however I can't & had a horrendous first night, I had to resort to sleeping tablets the next!!

"The location is great, right on the High Street with the use of a free car park at the shopping centre behind the hotel. There are some quaint and interesting buildings on the High Street and church and the churchyard is worth a visit. Like all interesting towns it suffers from town planners who have wrecked great parts of it. There's still enough left to make it interesting."

Young, helpful and friendly staff could have done with a bit more training. We like 'character' Inns.

Noisy. We didn't mind the church bells, but our room fronted the High Street and the youth of the town kept us awake until 2am when the disco closed with shouting and clearly audible bad language. With no aircon, we just had to have the window open. Breakfast service was slow and 9.30 am on a Sunday is a late start! Generally we felt that it is time for a makeover July 2008. Everything was there and worked, but the whole place lacks a bit of style and the furnishings and colour schemes are a bit odd. We've stayed in better for the same money!

Small and not over crowded. Good sized bathroom.

Was at first unclear where to go to check-in on arrival at the pub/hotel, and where to park wasn't clear either.

Extractor fan outside of window, very noisey at times

"Room was clean, though curtains had a big rip in them, bathroom clean, but did notice the toilet brush was full on something ! not bad, for the money, main problem was as stated above about food in room and eating in the bar."

Handy as we were only a short taxi ride away from our event which is why we went.

Not being able to have your own food in your room, you had to eat in the bar, which though had a non smoking area was still full of smoke, plus food was all fried stuff, you could smell the cooking fat from our room, big put off. Needs more choice and needs to be less restrictive about no other food allow.

Nettes Zimmer. Freundliches Personal. Gutes English Breakfast.

Da unser Zimmer über der Bar lag, war es zum Teil etwas laut. Doch für eine Nacht ist das ok.
