    "Very pleased"

superb bed and room fittings. Excellent breakfast

Duvet luxurious but far too hot for the month. Coffee tasteless.

"Well. Not good. Breakfast was ok-ish. We were told we had to have breakfast later than nine o'clock because too many people were booked then. We would have preferred eight . . . And I was served virtually raw tomatoes instead of the beans I had ordered. This was put right but it all smacked of amateur B&B, frankly, not hotel-standard."

Situation was fine. Room was OK - but no more.

4-Poster bed = no reading lights until the side curtains were completely removed. Foam mattress in this supposedly premium room was awful, awful, awful ! Not had such a bad night for many years ! General decor and 'decking' outside room was not of high quality - it all looked like a house done-up for sale and still not sold a few years down the line . . . . .

signage not clear from road, covered by bushes and sat nav takes you about 5 mins drive away. so found it hard to find. Would be nice to have sweetners in room for diabetic's

Nice room and location. Friendly staff

Previous occupants dirty sheets still in room. Inadequate information given as to where to have dinner i.e. not advised to book and restaurant full when we got there Long wait for breakfast, despite having ordered as requested the previous night

"Excellent! I would definitely stay there again!"

Towels were styled as swans and laid on the bed upon arrival Excellent breakfast - cooked to order after specifying a time the night before I ordered strawberries dipped in chocolate for the room upon arrival which were divine! In the middle of the country - lovely scenery. Jaccuzi bath was a real treat. Spotless!

Carolyn and Brian were lovely hosts. They do a cracking breakfast. The surroundings of the B&B were gorgeous. The facilities werte comfortable, and spotless.

"Fansastic accommodation, and good value for money!"

The room we had was elegant and very comfortable and had a fantastic en-suite. The breakfast full of local produce was very tasty! Only a 5 minute drive away from Cheddar Gorge which was fantastic for a day out, and a good selection of restaurants too ...we would highly recommend the Indian at the bottom of the gorge!

Was located too far to walk to any restaurants/pubs, although this meant it was very peaceful!

Exactly how described by your website. Clean, comfortable room with lovely views of open fields, sheep and chicken with a very comfortable bed. very comfortable bed.

Nothing, all perfect. Very nice couple running guest house who were very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

"We arrived and were greeted very promptly. The room we stayed in was garden room 6, very nice. It overlooked fields of sheep. We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay and plan to return very soon, especially as they are now building rooms with hot tubs!!"

The fact it was so peaceful but not far away from shops, restaurants etc if we wanted to go.

There was some building work being undertaken, but although there was quite a lot of noise early in the morning this did not spoil our aty.

"Overall it was a great way to spend two nights away . The hosts were very friendly and we were lucky in that the weather was lovely so we were able to use the pool which was very clean and a nice temperature. The room was excellent clean, tidy ,comfortable and the whirlpool bath was just what was needed after a day walking . Could not fault the food either , the breakfast was just right to set you up for the day. The only down side was i think the tariff a little on the high side for a B & B."

The remote setting made for a quiet leasurely break , which was exactly what we were looking for .

Nothing to dislike , though i agree with a previous review that a fridge would make a good addition to the room as quite a drive to nearest shop

TRANQUIL, SCENIC LOCATION, GOOD QUALITY ROOM AND FACILITIES, EXCELLENT BREAKFAST, WELCOMING NATURE OF THE OWNERS

The location, the fresh eggs for breakfast, the fresh air and the scenery. The overall decor was good in our room and it was spacious. It was good to have a whirlpool bath and tea making facilities in the room. It was great to have a DVD player in the room.

There was some mould around the bath, the mattress was quite uncomfortable - it needed turning as there were dips in it moulded from past guests. It would have been good to have a fridge in the room - as the farm is a drive away from anywhere to eat it would be good to keep snack food and drink cold in case you don't want to drive anywhere for a bit.

"Good location for the area I wanted to visit. Lots of things to do but with small children could be limited for evening meal if a pub is not what you want. The food served was well presented and ready when you requested it. I was pleasently surprized that video's were available to guests to either use in the lounge with a log fire which we did but also on your own tv in the room. This was great if you had children as they could be left in the room while you the adult could watch in the lounge something else, very home from home."

A very warm welcome after travelling long distance. Arrived in the dark the accomodation from outside was very welcoming.

It was not that well signed from the road - this is very off the beaten track and arriving after dark did not help. In information given prior to setting off would be better for more detail on location would help

"Tor Farm is a great guest house for a get away in the country. The nearest town is Cheddar only a short drive away. The standard of the room was high. So much to do and see in the local area this makes an ideal base to start from."

Good standard of decor & the whirlpool bath.

    Too warm
