I had about two hours sleep due to the noise of young guests letting out "people" they`d had in their rooms in the early hours. They banged on our door at 3.30 as they passed,they cursed and swore and put the hairdryer on at 4am just for the sake of it.

"We left with a very pleasant feeling of having been looked after. It is to be noted that the hotel was in process of re-decoration with the appropriate upset of areas as occurs anywhere at times of upgrading."
Booking in and all the staff were excellent, very pleasant, friendly, and very helpful with information for onward journey directions and carrying of luggage in view of being senior customers for which we were very grateful. We would definitely stay again if we needed to visit Nottingham.
No bad points as such. The radiator in the bedroom had a problem which was due to be fixed and a plumber was awaited. We were provided with a heater which was fine until we had to swith it off to retire. The option of extra bedding would have been helpful. Also a rubber suction bath mat would be a good safety idea to prevent slipping when bathing.

Location was great for what we needed. There was no problem getting in the hotel very late at night.
No mirror in room to dry hair. Mirror in bathroom but too steamy to use for make-up when showered. No cups in room to have coffee. Can't comment on breakfast as we didn't have time to attend In the morning we were woken up by banging on the ceiling - sounded like a corridor over bedroom with people constantly walking up and down it - this also make the light shade rattle I don't think it was very stable as the other light shade was missing!

Perfectly adequate and as described.
No remote for TV and due to its very low position on a stool was very difficult to see from one side of the bed. A wall bracket would easily solve this problem.

"Well after a stressfull week 4 both of us...2 nights in a `honeymoon suite` sounded great...the pics on the website were also great...the location of the hotel was good for us also...however upon arivel there was a a shock...as we found a second rate b&b that needed updateing....the decor was dated...and dull...something u would find in blackpool after 2 seaons of stagnights etc....No way on this earth was i going to pay £140 for 2nights stay....spesh when the Gateway hotel 5mins away only charges £127 for 2 nights!!!!!!! and is of a higher class hotel. On a lighter note the staff could not do enough for us and performed beond there dutys...!!!"
