"Fantastic - I will stay there again if I am ever in Birmingham again."

The room was clean, bathroom was clean and facilities were good. If there were any questions or issues - they were addressed right away. Breakfast was great - good selection and fresh. They even got up early on Sunday morning and put breakfast out for us - 2 hours earlier than advertised.

We had a challenge with the heater one night - but as soon as we let them know - they not only fixed it - but gave us a spare just in case. Overall - no bad points.

"I enjoyed my stay, and would use this hotel again."

This hotel was clean and comfortable, Staff were friendly and helpful.

The hotel car park was not highlighted to me during the booking stage, I had to temporarily park my car on a busy road, walk to the hotel to find where their car parking facility was. Not too difficult once it was highlighted to me, and it is secure parking.

"OK for the money, but it did feel a bit poverty stricken."

I wanted a bed & easy internet access, which is what I got. It was a cosy room.

A few niggles, kettle lead was too short & I had to put the kettle under the desk to plug it in! Couldn't work the TV, but I did give up easily though. Parking around the back wasn't at all obvious, & took a bit of lateral thinking to get there you have to guess the roads to get to the back of the hotel. Local area felt like I was in the Gazza Strip, but that is not the fault of the hotel!

Poor signage to parking at rear - no lift and room on second floor Curtains did not meet so daylight in room in morning

"The hotel was excellent value for money. Warm, excellent rooms. great location. good secure parking."

Good location, parking etc. rooms good. Value for money.

The breakfast was a shambles. Had to ask for juice, tea, knives, almost everything. terrible organisation.

"Overall the accomodation was adequate, the room was OK and quiet, but the supporting amenities, i.e. breakfast, heating etc weren't so good. I probably won't stay here again."

    Secure parking and spacious room

Heating was only on during the day, which meant the room was cold when getting up. Breakfast selection was poor and very basic. There wasn't even toast on offer!

"Entrance at rear was all that was displayed at the hotel, with no explanation of how to find the access point."

The quietness in the rear room that I was allocated

Only that there was no prior warning of the vehicular rear entrance and how to get to it.

"Our room was at the front overlooking a busy road. The window was broken therefore not soundproof; hence traffic noise all night! The En-suit was very very small with towels haging right next to the toilet seat. The Dinning Room was a tiny coservatory which would be packed with 10 people and the breakfast was presented on a small plstic shef unit.I was not offered a pot of coffee just 1 small cup. The general feel was unprofessional and lacked customer care."

    The staff were polite

For the price I would expect a lot more

"Happy with stay as only a two minute drive from the course I was attending, but room was cold, pillows hard and bathroom cramped, although shower was excellent. Also if you are looking for somewhere to eat in the area good luck to you."

    Excellent hot power shower

Room at the top was very cold with radiators not anywhere near full blast

"Wouldn't rush back, we were only in town for a football match. The carpark was a nightmare as it was at the back of the hotel and the signs directing us to it were very small. There was no intercom at the gates and sounding the horn and flashing lights did not seem to attract any attention so we had to call on two occasions to get let in. The hotel was freezing but the receptionist/only staff member did provide us with an eletric heater then changed this as he didn't want us to have a noisy heater. Breakfast was a mystery as some bread seemed to be the only option although we did get a cup of coffee each."

They seemed to have tried hard with the decor of the hotel

There was a funny smell throughout the hotel, the heating didn't work and the carpark was almost impossible to get into due to having no intercom
