Promise of fluffy bathrobes and comfy slippers. Only one provided!! not much fun for the other person

standard of rooms was poor, the room was shabby and needed cleaning and refurbising, so asked to move rooms

Staff excellent. Location very good. Clean and warm and relaxing.

It's not even too bad but just to point out to people that there are feather duvet & pillows in some rooms. It just doesn't suit those with asthma. The minute I asked for it to be changed it was no problem.

"My 2 night stay was very nice. For football fans travelling to Elland Road, there is a bus which departs from across the road ask the hotel for details - however, there will be mostly home supporters using this service."

The hotel was in a good location near the station and not far from the city centre. The room was nice and there was a great selection of hot and cold food at breakfast time. For those driving in, you don't have to drive into the city centre either when arriving or departing - as the hotel is located on a 2-way street on the edge of the city centre.

Hotel was well worth money.

being told at end of stay VAt was to be added to bill an Extra £50 which i now have to collect from colleagues. Complete price should be put on confirmation form not when leaving.

Hotel was very clean

The staff were not aware of our reservation and were treated with dis-respect. Very rude and challanging suggesting we hadnt paid and there may not be room for us to stay. When i had confirmation in a printed email and i was aware I had paid. The manager spoke down to us and was very rude, another guest suggested this to who over heard this conversation. I was most upset and would not stay there again on prinicple what was a relaxing weekend away was a night mare. When the conformation was confirmed the manager didnt have the decency to come and apologise to me she sent another member of staff until I challanged her myself. The rooms air conditioning wasnt working and it was extreemly hot.

The tray of tea coffee etc had to be placed on the floor for the kettle lead to reach the electric socket, my friend burnt her foot when she accidentally knocked in over so be careful

room was very basic , the sink was blocked took ages too drain and shower was either too hot or cold.

The room was spacious and very nicely decorated.

the bed looked massive however on a closer look it was 2 singles pushed together!

Keys did not work on few occasions, wrong room given as booked twin and got double.

Strange fusty smell in the room and heating/cooling system in the room didnt work.

Some light switches didn't work. Don't like paying for Internet access when others offer it free.

Simple but yet that bit better than travel lodge et co as the finishing touches are much nicer

TV's are ancient and could really have all digital channels or at least a few sky channels as standard

The service received was poor.

Spacious

"Wasn't very satisfied with room service - Meal was quite expensive anyway, then when it came it wasn't as it was stated on the menu. We just got o small bowl of pasta. Not as it was stated, which was: Penne pasta with roasted cherry tomatoes, seasoning and ' leaves-can't quite remember exact name! After we had it taken away to have this sorted out, it came back cold with cold cherry tomatoes just dumped on top. Not very satisfying"

Friendly responsive staff, leisure facilities, centrally located, car parking available.

Car park access and movement constrained by too tight corners for up and down movements. Due to large 4 wheel drive parked in final slot obstructing final down egress fropm floor one to ground floor I touched side wall and badly dented my rear door. Recommend hotel eliminate parking in this location.

The communal areas were very good. The inside is very modern, clean and bright with a lovely bar / eating area.

The room itself was a little dated. Some of the floor tiles in the bathroom were cracked and blackened. Around the shower area tiles were cracked and the grouted areas were blackened/grimy in places. The shower wasn't very strong. The rest of the room was very clean although only one cup had been provided and we had to hunt another down from reception. It was a comfortable and clean bed area but you can get that from staying in a travelodge.

Good central hotel although the exterior is ugly the interior is quite nice.

No negative comments really.
