"Very Satisfactory"
Very convenient for the City and easily accessible from the motorway.
Very noisy guests in the next room on the Saturday night but this is no reflection on the staff of the hotel.

Location of hotel - very close to city center but far enough away so quiet excellant value for money nice big rooms

on arrival no greeting just name, sign here, room .... - had to ask where the lifts were to my room as they were not in sight - room only had 1 bath/hand towel for 1 people - hand towel had black marks on it - kettle was terribly stained inside

"A clean, pleasant and welcoming hotel with impressively large bedrooms. Perhaps it's rather soulless and functional but it provides very good value. "
Clean. Spacious. Quiet. Efficient staff at reception. Pleasant, active head waiter. Good-value breakfast.
No fridge in room. Bulky, old-technology TV in room with poor range of channels. Dining area subject to blasts of air when doors open. Surprisingly old-fashioned in styling and furnishings.

"Highly recommended"
Customer service was excellent. All staff were frindly and answered all questions.
Bit frustrated when 3 people on recption, 5 people queing to chcck in and two staff busy doing 'something' else, leaving one member of staff to cope. Did not look good. Only minor negative point.

"The hotel is a lovely hotel but feels like they have just cut to many corners reducing the service, very little staff out in the morning for breakfast and the food in the morning was quite poor. Evening meal very over priced and again not good value or that nice Rooms clean but very spartan The plus point was the bar in the evening, enjoyed that and the staff were attentive. Was quite disappointed"

staff boarderline on being rude, asked for assistance with safe, told to read instructions again cos they didn't no? also no ''did you enjoy your stay or thankyou etc when checking out infact nothing??? also problem in resterant with wrong discribtion of food then made out by cheff you were wrong??? really unproffeshional.

it was lovely having a family room which actually had beds for 3 - our son normally ends up on a bed-settee
online booking was a farce - i received the confirmation number, yet a couple of weeks later when i rang to check the booking, nobody could find any trace of it!

Nice, clean hotel with friendly staff. Free internet access as I had a lot of work to do in the evenings.

The hotel itself was faultless and great value for money.

"I'll probably have to stay again at some stage soon - I do like Irish hospitality, when it is there! It is usually pretty good."
Location is good; and the one evning meal we had was served with gratious efficiency and the meal was very tasty. Thanks.
Reception by the woman at Breakfast was miserable and she struggled with the concept of "good morning"... she just grunted "room number", without so much as "please", on all three mornings that I have stayed there this week! Car parking was also a frustration - it seems non-residents take over.

The location, in a cold and wet week, was a disadvantage - not adjacent to anything of interest. The buffet breakfast was fairly basic with few healthy options poor cereal selection, poor fresh fruit.

Staff and resteraunt
Next door deliberately banging room door which was reported and swearing loudly through the wall.Plus when people were having breakfast in the bar some lads were loud and discussing toilet habits very loudly in great length which made some visitors leave the room and the staff very uncomfortable as well as us. No manager came to say anything to them.

Good value hotel, handy for city.
I had booked three rooms, but the hotel only reserved two. This caused some problems for a colleague. The hotel admitted their mistake the next day. Hairdryer in room was broken, bare metal was showing and was very dangerous.

breakfast nothing spectacular and not included in price. limited options on tv/radio. had to ask for toiletries/shower cap/extra towels at reception. reception staff seemed a little harrassed/stressed.

The wifi didn't work in our room but it did downstairs and when we asked the desk guy he was very unhelpful & told me it must be my internet settings, bit odd being that I have a mac and there are no internet settings to change, I walk into a room and it either picks up a network or it doesn't, it did downstairs so why should it be any different in our room

"not very good valve for money. The staff directed me to a car park by the Hilton Hotel some 5 minutes walk away. The car park did not permit over night parking and cost £10 a day. I found a closer non-secure parking area close by myself. I would not stay there again."
Room was smart clean with a good bathroom and shower
my light van did not fit the parking area limited hight 1.9m my vanis 2.2 I did ask in advance for parking for my vehicle. In the warm weather the window had to be open to provide a draft, the road noise from the main kept me awake most of the night.

"It was affordable & friendly. I stayed with my husband & 9 year old daughter. Sometimes it is difficult staying out with children but I found the staff very friendly & welcoming and the room was suitable to our need without the usual scenario of having to climb over camp bed."

"good, But Web-site needs to be looked at, ie if a group wants to stay, make booking easier not just easy for familys staying. And when checking in, have the full amount there for the guest, not half now and half when checking out."
Staff and cleanless of hotel, was ok. Checking in was a bit of a epic, considering the bus brought us on a tour of the town before finally dropping us off, At least over a mile from the hotel. Where as we passed the road for the hotel, ten mins into the bus journey.
When booking in on line, the web site wont let us choose weather its a group of adults or whatever, just familys etc. And when you pay for your room on arrival, your paying in good faith, that your paying for somthing you have nt had yet, ie the service. But you pay on arrival, and then when you check out we were hit some of my group wer hit with, a suppliment? charge? I booked 4 family room, that has beds for 3 ppl, your paying for the room, not how many ppl are in it, weather it 2 adults and 1 child or 3 adults, it shouldnt matter, or you should charge on arrival, not when your rushing to get to the airport. All in all, The hotel was great, food great, staff were great, bit of a distance from town but hey what can ya do?
