Excellent location. Very attentive staff. Modern decor. Lovely bathroom. Very nice breakfast. Excellent car parking arrangements.
Room was a little cold when we arrived, but soon heated up when the radiator was switched on.

"Overall the hotel met with all our needs and when we asked on leaving the hotel about car parking facilities the person we spoke to clearly gave us the information we needed so in the future we will go by car and not by train."
The hotel had a great location,breakfast was excellent,and all staff we met could not have been more helpful.
The hotel was slightly dated but our room had been refurbished and was clean and very comfortable and we had all the facilities we needed.

"I really liked this hotel, the location is fantastic, warm and friendly surroundings. The standard of cleanliness is very good. Would certainly want to stay there again. The staff also deserve special praise, nothing was too much trouble for them. A refreshing change from most other hotels."
good size room, bath ensuite included walk in shower. An extra oil-filled radiator had been provided which was very handy as it was a cold night. Breakfast was cooked to order and excellent. Staff were very friendly and helpful
Menu in restaurant was very limited for evening meal. The bistro served mainly sandwiches and the restaurant did not really cater for lone travellers who want a quick simple meal. Great for couples who want a special meal as the dining room had great ambience and the food looked well presented and was obviously good quality from local suppliers. I had to go out to a local eaterie to get a quick one course hot meal. It would be helpful to have more hot food available on the bistro menu.

"Have stayed at this hotel before and on every time have enjoyed the stay. Close to the minster and all the shops, resturants and pubs. Very good service. Not that far from the railway station."

Big room, big toilet. Nice location - cathedral. Free internet.
Separate water taps - this is the main reason I will not stay in this hotel anymore. Too quiet in the breakfast room. Limited choice of breakfast on the table.

boiler broke on thursday 13-12-2007..had x 2 heaters installed but was very cold..hotel also had a powercut and lift was out of action, our room was on the top floor and had lots of bags so sat in the bar..which was closed and had a coffee

"from the friendly reception and taking in the bags and looking after my car - we felt like we were a guest and not a number - we signed for nothing which showed trust and made us feel very comfortable. We were so pleased we decided to eat in the restaurant as the service and food was amongst the very best and so reasonably priced. The most enjoyable stay I have had for many years"
The staff, room and food gave one of the best experiances I have had whilst staying away and I stay in hotels around the world very often. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

the hotel had amazing view of minster,and consequently was convenietely situated for everything.Staff were very attentetive and always on hand to help.Didnt dine in restaurant in evenings,however breakfast fantastic with great variety.

"our stay at Dean Court was very relaxing.comfortable and enjoyable.The staff were unobtrusive but always there to help.The food in the restaurant was exceptional and the service was faultless.Also the food and service experienced in the Court and from room service were of a very high standard.The room and bathroom were large with excellent furnishings and amenities.The setting is spectacular, being in full view of the Minster.A really great hotel to stay in.giving excellent value for money."

"We enjoyed our stay and found little need to improve it; one suggestion might be a wider range of continental breakfast - more breads, meat, cheese etc.Car parking was also good. The addition of decaffeinated tea in the room and for breakfast would have been good."
The room was clean, sweet-smelling and included a good range of refreshments. The window opened for fresh air. The room also had an iron which can be very useful.
We were disturbed both nights by youths outside which was unfortunate. The bin wasn't emptied on the Saturday.
