"We returned relaxed, we even stayed an extra night"

The staff are very helpful and friendly. The family room had space and proper beds for every one.

The decor in the older part is a little dark due to the choice in colour even though it is modern

"Good valud for money but would prefer to pay a bit more and have a better quality evening meal."

    Room was very good

Dinner was very average - the carvery food had been kept on the hotplates for too long and was very dried up. Breakfast - we wanted breakfast at 7.15 a.m. when the restaurant opened, as did several other guests we were all due to visit the Ladies Open Golfbut the staff were not ready for us - half the food was not out, no serving spoons were available and not many breakfast places were laid up.

"Would recomend it but to only stay in one of the 2 suites available. Got upgraded when I complained. Staff friendly & helpful but expensive for what you got."

The food was quite good although not much choice for main meal, therfore one had to pay a suplement for a steak 8.50 ponds for fillet & 6.50 for sirloin, but very good.

Hotel & room too hot & could not turn the temperature down !! 27 degrees, odd smell also. when we put the air con on it made a right rackett could not sleep with it on. Shower & bath useless.

"We had an enjoyable stay. "

The staff were very helpful and eager to please as well as being very polite which can be rare to find theses days.

We found the walls in the room very thin as we could hear every word of the lady staying in the upstairs roon,we were in the new part of the hotel. The rooms were decorated and finished to a high standard but felt our room was small so the decor and feel of the room did not live up to its full potential. We also noticed that some of the work had not been completed. We felt the female staff uniforms on the reception did not fit very well, could have done with being a size bigger.

Friendly atmosphere, good food, well kept hotel.

    "Very good"

Comfortable, child friendly hotel with helpful staff

Online Booking lacked sufficient options e.g not possible to book 1 family room room and one single room, detailing allocation of adults and children to rooms. Family room booked appeared on confirmation as booked for 4 adults as there was no opportunity to enter children on booking form.

"Hotel appeared to be understaffed. Staff spoke little English and appeared disinterested. No hospitality was offered to a 2200 arrival. "

    Room clean and well prepared.

Reception poor, shower broken, hot breakfast buffet not refilled at peak time 0730 and food either undercooked or cold. Tea making facility in room but no welcome biscuit.

lovely hotel, facilities excellant, room great, most staff had good customer care skills.

very hot and sticky. some of waiting staff in restaurant could do with brushing up on their customer care skills.

"The Inn on the Prom is a very nice hotel overall "

We thought the staff were very helpful and pleasant The food on the first night was excellent. The room once we had upgraded was really lovely

We were very dissapointed with our standard room as it faced a brick wall,it felt like being in a prison cell. When we called reception the lady was very helpful, but could only offer us an upgrade at an extra

"Enjoyed the weekend away but perhaps would try another hotel next time."

Clean hotel, nice plasma t.v., excellent swimming pool

Boutique room in my opinion too dark colours. Duvet too heavy and too warm for summer. Evening meal and the service could have been better. Glass of wine and water was taken away when going for the dessert course.

    Great location

Staff very young and inexperienced and seemed to be no management to supervise them. Nobody knew how to make an irish coffee, lift broke down one night with somebody stuck in it and nobody knew the emergency procedure. Lift out of action for hours, disabled guests had to use stairs

"The staff were very helpful when asked about the location of my training event in respect of the hotel. One thing i would like to comment on is the fact that there was no literature in my room about the facilities etc ie, phone dialling and tariff and places to visit in St Annes. I do not know if this was an oversight."

    The room layout and temperature

"Notwithstanding the above remarks I enjoyed my stay. I also found ithelpful to be able to book on line"

    the television set

I was suprised 1n a refurbished room that the shower was controlled by the bath taps. Also the workmanshp in the bathroom ie the tiling was not level also the grouting had not been properly cleaned from the surface of the tiles

"Hotel was good - new boutique rooms are very comfortable. Food is atrocious! Evening meal at Vetriannos was worse than the poorest pub grub. Lumpy sauces and baked-dry vegetables. Full english breakfast comprised of 1 egg , 1 piece of bacon & 1 sausage. This totally spoiled my stay."

"Had we known what the accommodation was going to be like there is no way we would have stayed at this hotel. Added to this the bar was sadly lacking - no Jack Daniels, no ginger ale etc., Any visitor from abroad would have gone away with a very poor opinion of the U.K. and the standard of its' hotels. We thought the charge for the room was extortionate in the circumstances"

Situation on sea front was lovely, and lobby of hotel art deco style and clean! Staff waiting on tables were very pleasant and helpful.

Room was terrible - dirty bath, peeling wallpaper, dirty carpet, dust everywhere just above eye level and dreadful outlook. Bed linen was clean however. For most of our weekend stay the lift was out of service.

"reasonably priced and in a good location. the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff generally helpful. The room was pleasant and roomy although I could not find a way of turning the heating down. The tv in the room had no remote control and I could find no way of adjusting the volumne. No instructions./information was provided particularly with regard to meal times. These are however minor points and on the whole the stay was enjoyable."

    clean and tidy, nice location

no remote control for tv and no instructions
