"The hotel was clean and friendly, but we did think it was quite expensive considering a friend of ours had been and stayed in exactly the same type of accomadation for "
it did what it said on the tin basically, the location was fine and the atmosphere was pleasant. Breakfast was ok as well
The room was very basic and the wash basin was outside the bathroom which was annoying. You could hear guests and television in the room next to us. We originally booked the four poster bed but after everything had been confirmed we were told we could'nt have it.

"This is an excellent hotel and the staff are really friendly and helpful. We will be back to stay again hopefully soon."
I like the amount of space there was for my clothes I always travel with to much and there was lots of space for them. It was also very neat and clean.
The only problem we had was having to ask for fresh towels, because the weather was warm there was no heating in the room to dry the towels.

"The room was quite basic, but clean, tidy and comfortable. The towels were changed every day. The shower didn't work very well but we managed. Overall was a nice hotel."
clean room, very friendly, helpful staff. near to the sea front
shower in room not great, otherwise all was well

"The hotel is a great example of a small, friendly and well run hotel in a great location in Blackpool. The pleasure beach is literally a 5 min walk away, and as you are slightly off the front, do not get disturbed by any noise at night. The breakfast was excellent, and cooked to order which is unusual in most hotels, which meant it was always hot and plentiful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to others."
The accomodation was superb. Rooms were comfortable, well decorated and very clean. Would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in Blackpool as it is extremely friendly.
The only thing that was a slight concern, was that the room I stayed in had recently been painted, and there was still a smell of fresh paint in the room, although this disappeared after a few hours with the windows open.

"Raising the standard on traditional Blackpool bed and breakfast accommodation, this hotel offered the best of services with a touch of class. Staff were friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and adequate, newly decorated and furnished with attention to detail. The hotel is located away from the centre and is quiet with free but well used street parking yet near enough all the main attractions praticularly the pleasure beach and a short tram ride from the town "
This was a small, quiet and friendly hotel away from the crazy bizz of blackpool's centre but close enough to all the main attractions. Very clean and well kept accommodation with basic room facilities that were adequate for a short stay.
Parking could cause a problem, although street parking is free it is very well used and there are no guarantees of being close to the hotel. The hotel does offer a few private spots for early arriving residents.

"Location was just what we wanted, things to do within walking distance and only a short taxi drive into the main center. Staff were very informative and accurate about facilities in the area."
The four poster room was ok. but looked a little basic
We had to wait for the heating to warm up on our arrival, which is not good in January and the shower was not very hot in the morning, which was a big minus point. This was made up for by the staff having 'Branson' pickle available at breakfast and not just the normal red and brown sauces.

"The hotel was within all local amenities whether you wanted the beach, town,or pleasure park. We went up to watch the FA Cup match and it was walking distance to Blackpool football ground. The proprieters were very friendly and welcoming, the hotel was comfortable and the food was delicious. Home from home!"

"I booked this hotel as a surprise for my mother and father so all the above comments were what they mentioned to me. I did come into hotel and checked in with them and was greeted by a very friendly young lady, sorry i cant remember her name but she was nice enough to upgrade my parents to a four poster room which was a nice bonus. My parents would certainly book your hotel again when visiting Blackpool and we would reccommend you to any friends and family. Thank you for a nice stay just wish it could have been a little longer. Miss Joanne Davies"
The staff were very friendly and made check in easy. Room was clean with tea and coffee. Hotel overall was was homely and comfortable. Breakfast was fabulous.

Friendly Staff
The broken shower - although the owners did tell us it was broken and waiting to be fixed - so not a problem.

"Owners Andy & Marie were very helpful and friendly. Breaksfast was a lovely fryup. Rooms were pleasently furnished. We had booked the smallest double room, but we were upgraded to the 4 poster room for 2 of our 3 night stay. Even the small double was big enough for us. The showers were lovely and hot. Visitor guests that stayed in the hotel were also friendly. We would sit in the hotel bar and all have a drink and a chat together. This hotel is a 5 min walk to the prom and pleasure beach. I would definitly go back to this hotel & i am really fussy also while in Blackpool, make sure you go the the Funny Girls show terrific Overall I would give our stay 10/10"
Hotel was clean and well presented. The owners andy & marie were really friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a lovely fry up,with toast, hot drinks/orange juice. Only 5mins walk from promenade and pleasure beach.
