    "Very good."

    Clean well equiped hotel with friendly attentative staff. Ample Free Parking.

    Very warm room even with the heating turned off and the window open. Access to the gym/pool through the bar/eating area Costa.

    "As usual not a lot you can say that is detrimental to this Hotel due to the excellent service and value for money. As we have stayed in this Hotel on a number of occasions since it first opened their has been no deterioration in the level of standards that are constantly on view. "

    "Very pleased and would stay again."

    Excellent value for money with Active Hotels. Very clean and modern building, free car park and use of spa facilities.

    Found crumbs in bedside table's drawer.

    Car park littered and difficult to get out due to barrier Dodgy electics shave socket did not work and a main light kept coming on and off!

    very well appointed clean modern. Staff very professional helpfull and smiley a pleasure to communicate with.

    ONLY ONE BAD POINT. OVER BATH SHOWER NOT SUITABLE FOR ANY ONE OVER 5'9" TALL MOST HOTEL GUESTS RATE HOTELS BY SHOWERS.

    "I would have no problem recommending the hotel as a place to stay"

    Staff and facilities were very good as both myself and my partner are disabled. The staff were very aware of our special needs

    "OVERALL THIS HOTEL IS IN A GREAT LOCATION AND IS GREAT VALUE FOR MONEY. THE BREAKFAST IS EXCELLENT, BUT IF IT MEANT PAYING A COUPLE OF PUNDS MORE IN ORDER TO HAVE MORE TEA, COFFEE, MILK AND BISCUITS PLEASE, PLEASE DO SO!!"

    LACK OF TEA AND COFFEE AND ONLY ONE PACK OF BISCUITS BETWEEN TWO! WHEN WE STAYED FOR 2 NIGHTS NEW VITUALS WERE NOT ISSUED FOR THE SECOND DAY AND WHEN WE ASKED, WE WERE GIVEN 2 TEA BAGS, 1 COFFEE AND 2 SACHETS OF MILK!!!!!

    "Very good. Would not pay advertised rtates for it but through this site got pre-purchase room which was a very acceptable rate and significantly less than the hotels direct site. will use again."

    Fresh modern hotel. Rooms of a good size and clean. Pleasant stay

    Not good for the city Access - is good for Motorway access and nottingham business Park. On the night I stayed the in room internet did not support VPN e-mail. The Wi-Fi in the lobby did. Hotel gave free access to this for 2 hours.

    "This booking was made as a suprise wedding gift; the hotel staff were made aware a number of times during email correspondence however verbal or actual requests made and paid for were not carried out. Poor performance of the staff apparently due to lack of training!? Offer of compensation made; i.e., to supply the Champagne already paid for! Really disapointed from a Customer Service point of view especially when dealing with management! "

    Communication via email to hotel staff was excellent PRIOR to the stay, however following though the plans made were poor.

    Response to plans not followed through was poor.

    Quick, clean, efficient, very nice breakfast

    Only hiccough was that staff on room service didn't understand the whiskey we were trying to order. They can handle Bells and Jamesons, but got confused with Single Malts.

    "Very enjoyable"

    Staff were very polite and helpful. The room was very clean and modern and the facilities easy to use.

    The Reflections spa was fully booked and unavailable all weekend which was a huge disappointment as it was a leisure weekend.

    "From the most improved meeting service of 2007 hotel we have the worst service from a 4* hotel that I have stayed in. The senior management need to wake up and look around at the service they offer. 4* it isn't. Stop harping on about past glories and get back to the levels of service I enjoyed in December 2007 "

    Clean Hotel, Comfortable Room except for the fire door banging up against the room's wall! and nice pool

    Inconsistent quality of service. Awful bar service with a drink served in a hot wet glass straight from the dish washer! Fire alarm @ 2.40 am in the morning with a letter of apology stuffed under the door. No meet and greet at breakfast leading to us tracking somebody down to get tea/coffee/toast. Didn't ask if I enjoyed my stay at the end unusual for a so called 4* hotel

    There was a pubic hair left on the bathroom floor,discoloured grout in the shower,unclean glasses in the bathroom,dusty shelves and a stained sheet.Too much fat in the trays containing the bacon,hash browns and black pudding.

    "The hotel facilities, room and food quality were very good. The staff on reception were welcoming and helpful. The only criticism is of the staff in the dining room at breakfast. The girl serving us was surly to the point of rudeness, she didn't smile once."

    "Easy online booking Very quick check-in Room was nice, clean and modern Nice spacious bathroom. Spa and pool area was nice Good choice for breakfast Painless checkout All staff were very polite and courteous My only complaint about our room was:- We are used to a larger bed so the double bed seemed small, even though the room was large enough to accommodate a minimum of a queen size bed."

    "Thge renovations taaking place detracted from the eating experience and as a consequence we only used the facility once, but would have been happy to use again as the food was quite well cooked and served. Despite the obvious diruption to the staff's routine in the restaurant am&pm, they managed to provide an efficient service at b'fast, and only an adequate service in the pm. Lunch time was also good and efficient. All staff were chearful despite their obvious change to the routine. The temperature within the public areas was cool, despite the wall rads. being on. Public area toilets were very well appointed."

    The room was spacious and well appointed with TV and storage, and seating. The shower was a particular high point as were the toiletries.

    In my experience when paying this amount for a room ; it is noirmal to have bottled water. This was absent.

    "Slow check in as only one person at desk, already running late because of motorway accident to then waste over 10mins in line Breakfast VERY UNDERSTAFFED - sign wait to be seated but told to find a table where possible, as there was only one table set this took a while. Managed to flag a member of staff eventually, who took order for tea & toast - tea arrived after a wait breakfast almost consumed toast never arrived. It was chaos which was no fault of the staff as you could tell how stressed they were"

    Location

    Hotel staff leave trays with half eaten food on, bottles & glasses outside quest's room in the corridors for a long while, sometimes overnight. We found this unacceptable especially for such a nice hotel.

    "My room was comfortable and clean. The food was good. I was able to use the swimming pool with no difficulty. Having the towel, the swim suit spinner and carrier bags provided meant I did not have to worry about having damp clothes in my suitcase."

    All the staff were courteous

    I received an unexpected telephone alarm call at 11:45pm when I was asleep.

    "We had a poor experience of the hotel due to eating in the restaurant. They were clearly understaffed, but the maitre d' was doing her very best to save the situation she was faced with; waitressing staff who did not know the layout of the restaurant or the contents of the menu. The food was very disappointing, tasteless and bland. So poor in fact that I didn't even have a dessert - which is virtually unheard of! The Maitre d' was not being supported by other staff and appeared to be having to manage everything by herself - including having to go to the bar to collect drinks - this was an appauling situation for her to be left in. But it was gratifying that when we mentioned the poor food at checkout we were not charged for the food."

    The accomodation was well furnished. All the fittings were of a high standard and the bathroom was clean

    "Excellent. Would return with no problem and would recommend. BUT ... tepid water for shower on Sunday morning - need to get boiler inspected? The weekend we were there, restaurant undergoing change-over - would have been polite to have been informed previously and service would appear to have been under-staffed in hotel generally."

    Room exceeded our expectations.

    Nothing to dislike. However, huge wedding party on Sunday morning. Busy dining room environment in morning. Not a lot left choice-wise for breakfast, but what we had was excellent. Delay on check-out, but dealt with well.

    "The staff were rather pressured at breakfast, but the food was excellent, with a good choice. Visitorwise a very good experience, very confortable beds, clean rooms with both showers and bath attached. Health spa also very clean and welcoming staff."

    "THe whole experience was of a luxury hotel at an economic price. It compares faroubly with the likes of Travel inns in terms of price and is superior in terms of quality. The breakfast was relaxed, with a wide variety of foods ranging from a well cooked traditional english through the corflakes and toast to the continental Danish pastries meat and cheese selections. Sat nav had no problem locating the hotel although it was useful to have the written directions."

    New, fresh easy to find, the rooms have balconies and the staff were very helpful.

    Very spacious accommodation and excellent facilities.

    The only problem we had was on checking in when the reception could not find out if our room was ready at 3.30pm as the computer system had a problem and we were left waiting in reception for half an hour.

    "The overall stay was good, although I was given a room that was already occupied which lead to some embarrassment on my part when I walked into the room to find both parties on the bed.only saw the feet!"

    The hotel was spotless and the breakfast was cracking. A lot tastier and filling than the evening meal.

    The room was too warm even though the radiator was turned off. The evening meal was too small.

    A smart new hotel, conveniently near the motorway
