Thought it was really good that you put on a bus to the concert We had no idea where we were going and so helped a lot plus t shots got the night of to a great start. And the powerful shower did wonders in t morning.

Sheets could have been cleaner ours had a few we stains on but managed to just tuck them down t side of the bed

"I’ve not stayed at a hotel for a few years but the experience here was really good. I stayed during the night of the Springsteen concert so the whole experience was enhanced by the bar staying open late with Springsteen video and music. The staff couldn’t do enough to help and phoned me a week before to see if I wanted a coach to the venue. The cynic would say they were just trying to fill the bus but I thought it was a really good effort. "

The staff were really helpful and for the short time I was there it seemed they cared about making the place a happy place to be. It was clean and tidy and really good value for money.

It's a budget hotel so don't expect luxury.

"Becuase of the location it served its purpose but I would not recommend this hostel to friends because of points outlined above"

Good location and staff very helpful. Good breakfast for price.

Mattress cover was grubby. Windows would not stay open without help of paper wedge. Window ledges/frames were very dirty on inside. Shower curtan not long enough to prevent water on floor in shower room. No mat to satnd on in shower room. Hostel was VERY noisy with people banging on doors and shouting. Even with windows closed it was very noisy in the street all night. Noise from "Osmosis" was excessive. I would expect some disco music noise but this was so loud that you couldn't sit in there let alone sleep above it!

"Disappointing. Not the fault of the staff, they were helpful and seemed to know what they were about."

staff courteous and competent. Location in city centre. Available at very short notice.

Noisy thoughout the night, partly due to trains at Central Station, but also because group of some kind appeared to be rehearsing close to the fire escape, or playing in the bar off Reception. Breakfast, "continental" should not mean "bread only". There won't be many coeliac repeat customers. Not actually dirty, but not fresh. You get the impression a refurbishment isn't far off.

"If we return to Glasgow some time we will return to your hostel."

Good value for money. Best bed-equipment pillows and blankets during our 11 days' trip round Scotland! We got all we needed toilet, shower and a bed and the breakfast was a good surprise in relation to the payed price!

    "Cheap accomodation, poor value."

    Close to the city centre.

Bathroom very dirty, towels not changed at all only after an explicit request. Staff at the reception except one of them very disrespectful, unfriendly and ignorant.

"The staff were lovely and very helpful, however the cleanliness of our room was something else. There was blood on the shower door, faeces on the shelf above the toilet, some of the bed linen was soiled, the ceiling had disgusting stains on it and the room was quite noisy i dont think it was double glazed "

Being very central to the city.

"I believe perhaps more amenities should have been provided for the room as it was very basic for the price. Although a non-smoking room had been provided the smoke from other rooms was entering the room qnd it was not possible to close the window as the room had clearly not been aired out."

    Near facilities.

Bit expensive for the basic facilities,e.g, only one towel had been provided, for a quad room.

"Hotel is excellent for a short stay. Close to shopping and access to public transport to see things outside the city was made the whole trip very enjoyable"

Excellent location right in the city centre. rooms were not super luxurious but more than adequate for a few days

Poor breakfast selection... cereal, toast, tea and coffee. Option of a hot breakfast would have been nice even if it wasnt included in the B+B price

"I thought my stay was excellent value for money. My first room had a leaky shower but the reception staff were really helpful in changing rooms and even came to check the new one was OK. The staff are one of your best assets!! The rooms were exactly what I was expecting. I get very annoyed at paying over the top for a whole load of stuff that you don't need in most hotels all you basically need are a shower, a loo and a place to keel over into at night. This answered all my needs."

Friendly and helpful staff. Very comfy bunk slept like a log. Absolutely brilliant shower plenty of hot water.

Catawauling from band practising in next building I like heavy metal but they were bad!!. So not really the hostel's fault. Used ear plugs and had a brilliant night's sleep.

"wouldnt stay there again, for the sake of a small amount more could have stayed at a hotel with much better facilitys"

    easy to find. central

cant check in untill 3, late considering most inter european flights land in the morning. check out was due at 11 and a person entered our room at 08.30 and again 09.30 to remind us. not very polite and was not impressed by this

"As an older, solo woman travelling to a strange town I was a bit nervous about what to expect. Although prepared for the rough end of town so close to the railway station I was pleasantly surprised. The hostel felt very central, everywhere was well lit and I even felt safe walking back late at night. The staff were very welcoming, even though the booking system had crashed and things were muddled, they were very calm and helpful in the face of a crisis, v/profgessional. A good face for Glasgow."

It was where i needed it to be. In the middle of town, just a walk from the station and entertainment venues I wantedto go to. the room was clean if basic, but i had a good nights sleep and a good breakfast to see me on my way next day.

It was hard to find a cup of tea or coffee in house, all the vending machines were broken and i was none to clear on what i could and couldn't use inthe kitchen.
