Staff were friendly and efficient.The room was a good size and the facilities in the room were very good too

Thr room had areas where dusty-the side of the headboards

was not given the option of smoking or non smoking room when booking and was given a smoking room which smelt badly of ciggarettes, when asked if we could be moved to a non smoking room we were told there wasnt any free. If was staying longer than the 1 night i would have gone somewhere else.

The room was dry and warm and the bed comfortable. The breakfast was also good and had a variety of options. The location was favorable and the bar was a nice place to sit and chat.

The bathroom was a little moldy. Also, neither the television set nor water boiler worked. The cups provided were not exactly clean either. The walls were thin to the point that I heard all the gruesome things in the rooms next to mine all night long.

The Receptionist was very pleasant.

Rubbish hidden at near the curtain in a bag which must have been missed by the cleaner but overall the stay was pleasant.

"The cleanliness of the room was extremely poor, the floor of the bathroom had not been cleaned properly. The towel rail in the bathroom wasn't connected, the air con blew out cold air, there was an old electric heater in the room that had to be used because it was so cold and the trouser press couldn't be used because the dial was missing. The room definitely needed updating and the equipment in the room needed fixing."

reception service from the employers was excellent and they were very helpful and the hotel was very clean and nice... and rooms were perfect for a overnight stay

"Overall not to bad. However the room had a wooden connecting door through which you could hear other guests who were talking till 5.30 in the morning. Even though i complained to reception at 4.45 nothing was done about it."

Near the city centre, bed was good, nice people at the reception

bathroom was not really clean, a lot of scale, at the lower part of the door the painting was peeled off. The room didn't smell fresh.

Reception was very nice and the staff were really helpful. Room had a great view. Bathroom lovely. Shower fantastic once I had figured out how to use it!!!

The room was not cleaned as I would have liked one day and tea bags/milk was not replaced and it didn't look as though it had been touched very much. On the other days it was fine. The staff at reception sorted me out when I went down to find out about the tea bags and milk. The room was a designated smoking room and as a non-smoker I could smell the stale tobacco in the room. If I had been staying longer, I probably would have asked to move to a non-smoking room.

City Centre location but not noisy, friendly staff, clean room, good breakfast buffet choice

fittings and fixtures a bit tired eg poor quality picture on tv, shower fitting head not providing a spray more a gush, toilet flush needed a bit of effort to make work.

Had Car park ticket stamped but it still charged me £14.20 when I left rather than the £9.50 I was told at reception. Total time in the car park = 22 hours.

Upart from the cook who came out to talk to the guests the rest of the breakfast team were miserable and we had to ask for more fried eggs, more crockery etc

Clean hotel and room, good central location.

Check in desk lady carried on chatting with her friend in the office after we had made it obvious that we were waiting, and then failed to let us know that due to the slightly odd layout of the hotel we couldn't walk up the stairs to our "3rd" floor room, as it was in fact on the 6th or 7th floor, and could only be accessed via the lifts from reception. We had to walk back down again past reception to get the lift!

Cheep, though the Internet price was £100GBP more than the hotel rate over two nights. Breakfast not included.

Rather grubby and attractive to younger people who sleep by day and party all night.

rooms not available till afternoon after arriving on early morning flights ideal time would be 11ish and not 2ish. got locked in my room on arrival and could not get an answer from reception but eventually go out after turning and twisting the night lock which was not working.

I was just disappointed with my room, I booked and organised the rooms and everone else was given a better room than mine.

room was very warm and stuffy- i was on the 9th floor and the window didn't open very far. i could see no air conditioning for cooling or hot pipes to see where heat was coming from- although it was very sunny the afternoon i visted. No drwaers for clothes, expected to hang every thing up.

Lots of things begining to look shaby and tired

Heating set on timer, so could not be controlled individually in the rooms. This was during winter and it was cold!

"I did not enjoy my stay. It was not comfortable. The staff were unhelpful and rude. The hotel was unclean. One of the lifts did not work. There were no signs to the staircase. I would not stay there again."

Close to the city centre.

The staff were less than helpful, bordering on rude. We were not told our room number or directed to the lifts. Our room was dirty - the cups and glasses had not been washed. The bathroom was unclean. On the second day our key card did not work. When going to collect bags we had left on checkout day the member of staff was so rude to the Russian guests she was serving that she didn't notice us waiting. The maids walked in at 8am despite the "do not disturb" sign hanging on the door.

This hotel is good value for money and in the process of being decorated. the breakfasts are great. there is so much choice.

If you get an old room some of the taps and fitments can be a bit worn. But that shouldn't stop you staying here.

The operation of the shower was awful...why not have a easy straight forward shower system instead you have one the requires instructions that are placed so low down I have have a bed back and this caused problem in the end i managed to have a shower and couldnt switch it off...then during the early hours the light fitting in the bathroom decided to fall off
