We were given a room on the Smoking floor, despite having booked 2 months in advance. The reception staff were not in the slightest bit interested, and did not make any attempt to find a no smoking alternative

Clean Hotel. Good choice of decor in reception/bar area. Friendly Staff. Super breakfast!!! Excellent location.

CLEAN BEDDING AND CLEAN BATHROOM

THE SMELL OF SMOKE IT WAS ABSOLUTELY AWFUL AND THE CARPET WAS FILTHY I WAS SO SO DISAPPOINTED THE WHOLE FLOOR WAS STINKING OF SMOKE!

"I couldnt answer whether I would or would not recommend the hotel to friends and visitors to Glasgow. As I am often staying on my own in this hotel the location is good and the public areas relaxed. However as I said above the rooms are in need of refurbishment and other than a one or two night stay I wouldnt use it."

Location, friendly,efficient staff and good restuarant and bar area

I most certainly say that the rooms are in need of an upgrade. I have stayed at this hotel quite often since it opened and the decor and carpets remain the same.
