Stayed before last year, thought it was a good hotel, friendly staff, esp young girl called Alex who was very helpful, friendly and easy to talk to. encourages you to come back when you've nice staff!

Maybe bit tidier outside but nothing to make an issue of. You've to wait until 2pm to check in. Could be earlier.

Room was booked as a twin, however it was not prepared as such and I had to inform the receptionist to get it sorted out. Room could tend to be a bit stuffy in relation to ventilation.

It took a very long time to be served in the dinning room at night. There was on;ly 1 waitress and 1 bar person working. The were very polite and as quick as they could be but it needed more staff on.

The hotel is very convenient to where I was going on business, the staff were friendly and the hotel was clean and bright.

There was confusion on booking in and I was told that my evening meal and drinks had been paid for. This I knew was not possible as I booked the room myself and paid on my credit card. I questioned who had paid for this and eventually found that my booking had been completely mixed up with someone else. If I had not been honest and enquired as to who the payment was etc. the hotel could have lost money.

Big bed and closeness to nottingham arena.

"We booked in for the Sunday night because we were going to the Nottingham Arena. The hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the venue so we didn't have to get a taxi after the gig. We had arranged to go shopping on the Monday and were able to check out and leave our car in the car park until we had finished later that afternoon. The staff were very helpfull and ensured we had an enjoyable stay. We would definately use this hotel again."

i loved it as it was close to the arena where we went the friday night and the canal was great for a meal in the hotel restraunt!

nothing apart from wanted more tea bags in the room as i was unwell saturday night.....but still great!!

It would be good if the heating could be on for one hour or so before a guest moves in. This can be done by asking when she arrives."

"An excellent hotel for short-stay shopping or business trips. Close to centre of town, easy to find and easy access with good car park just outside main entrance. The food was first rate with efficient and attentive waiter service. Being a country dweller myself I found that traffic noise, including police and ambulance sirens, from the nearby road woke me on several occasions at night. However, I would not let it deter me from staying there again - soon dropped back to sleep again in the comfy bed!"

Helpful, friendly staff. Spotlessly clean room. Self-control room heater a thoughtful touch. Food and service excellent. On the spot car park.

I don't understand how it is possible in 2007 to still find carpet in a hotel room.

"Staying at the London Road Premier Travel Inn was a very positive experience, the staff were friendly and helpful, accommodation was clean and breakfast was good, very efficient service. The hotel was easy to find, and as the hotel is situated very near the Ice Arena and shops it was a perfect spot for us and there's free car parking too. All in all I rate this stay as excellent."

Nice leisurely breakfast experience with swans on canal outside. All staff were superb and very friendly.

Was a little cold in bed and sheets seemed too low down bed. Also bed was two twins fastened together.

It was located next to a busy road which our room overlooked, but there was no traffic noise to speak of. The room was of a good standard for this level of hotel and was clean and modern. The hotel offered excellent value for money."

The hotel was in a good position for a concert at the ice stadium and a night out in Nottingham, within easy walking distance of the Hockley and Lace market areas. The hotel was clean and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

the room was very nicely decortaed and very modern. and we had a lovely view over the canal.

the road is very noisy outside the hotel, the windows didn`t bloke out the noise very well, making it fairly difficult to sleep

"A good visit. The staff were very helpful & friendly. Top marks to them. My only complaint is the access from the pavement. This was a large party of people staying for a wedding in many rooms. The steps down from the pavement are difficult for the elderly let alone me with a bad back.Then there were the youngsters carrying babes in arm or with toddlers. The access at pavement level is marked as wheel chair access. This is the only drawback to the hotel but on the whole I would stay again. Regards, Mike"

The staff were not very customer focused apart from the night receptionist. He was very helpfull.
