Apartment was warm clean comfortable and secure.

TV remote control did not work. Probably required a fresh battery. I would have changed it myself but the back was taped on.

    "great location, very restful"

great location, clean and tidy with plenty of room

no hot water for bath, only lukewarm for shower. most unsatisfactory when coming in on a freezing cold winters night.

new, clean, airy, spacious, and white. We were delighted with it really as we had just come from a dodgy ,though expensive, hotel down in in York. However, it can be a little noisy at night, a few chatty people passing by now and again - but it is in city centre afterall!

only gripe - would recommend fitting bedrooms with twin beds instead of double beds as we are a family. Oops- also perhaps access to an internet for guests for the usual charge!

"excleent, perfect location, faciities grand,,, just needs full sky sports and a big plasma TV, but to be honest we did not stay in the hotel long enough to use it!!! first class.. cheers Tony"

check in service and quality of reception staff was ace, they even made sure all my food delivery and beers where in the fridge cold for my guests to arrive.

    "Excellent"

Very well appointed. Extremely comfortable beds too. We have stayed with Premier Apartments in Newcastle before and would certainly stay again.

I really think wireless broadband should be included these days, even if only the first two hours were free. Having to spend £2 when I wanted to periodically check emails was irritating!

    "Excellent value for money."

    All mod cons.

None- although maybe to add more of a personal touch, things like salt/pepper. bottled water would be good. And non stick pans.

"Apartment could have been more spacious there were 2 of us and more interestingly decorated."

Centrally located with parking. Staff friendly.

Not much for the money. Hard to navigate to but that's more to do with Newcastle roads than the apartments.

"First time i had stayed in an apartment over a hotel and overall was good would all most certainly take an apartment over a hotel every time"

Space, cooking facilities, like home from home

not enough kitchen utensils, poor t.v/reception trouble with hot water!!!

    "Overall would use again."

Modern decor, spacious apartment, good facilities and location

Front room smelt like smoke and had an ashtray on table which would encourage smokers.

The apartment was clean and furnished to a good standard. The bedding was crisp and white, as well as being good quality.

The shower in the en-suite was too small, with poor water pressure and signs of black rot in the grouting. The shower above the bath however, was lovely.

It had all the facilities at hand, location was good for locale.

The bathrooms x 2 were a bit run down in that they had damp on the showers, base of bath frame, and the main bath hadn't been cleaned, although the staff were very quick at coming and taking care of it, because of the poor looking wash facilities i didnt take a bath or shower, just washed at the sink, so that was the only disappointment really!

nicely laid out and equipped, centrally located, generally very clean.

Spacious, clean, comfortable, central, well appointed accommodation

Constant noise outside right through every night of our stay. Some of the facilities didn't work - cooker light, TV remote control, bathroom extractor fan

"these apartments are amazing. I didnt think they would be as good as they were. I think you get some much for your money. the rooms were very clean and very comfortable made me feel more relaxed being away from home for the very first time. I am looking to book up again with the apartments i wouldnt want to stay anywhere else now."

the rooms felt like proper homes they were amazing.I also felt the security of the building was brilliant made my stay much easier.

"It would have been useful if there was earlier access to the apartment - 2pm was a little late for our needs. But overall it was a very pleasant experience, staff were helpful and friendly and the apartment's facilities were excellent"

    Spacious, well appointed and clean

The hotel was lovely and was very clean. The self catering facilities were great and the hotel was very well situated within walking distance of the city centre. We would definitely book again when staying in Newcastle.

Our room was very warm but with no air-con and the windows didn't open very far - it did get a bit stifling as it was a lovely warm weekend.

  • 80% Visitor

    Spacious, clean, good value.

As with most hotel accommodation its always the little things that get overlooked - viz, light bulbs blown, paintwork needing revamp, air extractor fan not working. No ability to fix doors open. Very irritating to have doors banging closed all the time. Simple catches would be a blessing

"The location is excellent and the accomodation is clean and comfortable and the staff are friendly. The apartment is of a high standard but for the money being charged I would expect better maintenance."

    spacious, liked the decor

a bit tatty, bath panel was hanging off, windows were filthy, edging strip of kitchen counter top was missing.

"Great value for money - two really spacious bedrooms and a great central location.Well equiped kitchen too. Only downside is the early moring noise as many revellers return! not a location for an early night! but great if you want to be in the heart of the City."

Very clean and good provisions, e.g., cooker, utensils, iron etc.

We initially requested an apartment at the back of the building to avoid the noise at the front. Although we weren't really affected, there did not appear to be many guests at the same time as us, so I don't know whether the request was ignored or whether it genuinely could not be fulfilled.

"A good, if slightly pricey, option for a weekend break. Clean, modern and well-equipped accommodation, located close to the station and handy for all the main sights. Pleasant, helpful staff. The only downside is its obvious popularity with a younger set intent on having a few wild nights in Newcastle. Maybe we were just unlucky but we were disturbed several times in the early hours of the morning. Not recommended for light sleepers."

Clean, modern, well-equipped and ideally situated in central Newcastle.

Nothing really although we noted that both bedrooms had suffered minor abuse damaged plasterwork from previous occupants.

We liked the apartment very much, it was like a home from home, all the things you need!

"I would stay there again. They just need to get a better checklist for cleaning staff to use."

spacious apartment that was well designed

The cleaning and facilities management could be done better. Glasses and dishes were dirty lipstick on glasses, but were back in cabinets. 6 lightbulbs were burned out.

"I have always stayed in B&Bs when I visit Newcastle but thought I would try the apartments. I was not disapointed. The whole apartment was clean, spacious and warm. Everything we needed was to hand. I particularly liked the fact that we didn't have to vacate the apartment until midday giving us chance to have a relaxing breakfast in the privacy of our own rooms. The staff were very helpful. The underground parking was useful. If I have to be critical I would only say that the directions to the car park were a bit misleading. We got lost in the one way system a few times, but that's all. I'm hoping to stay there again in May and July 2007."

    I couldn't fault the accommodation.

    Nothing
