"The room was very clean and of a decent size. The bed was very comfortable. Although the shower room was small, it had been fitted out to a good quality and with a good shower."

clean room, comfortable bed, quiet area, close walking distance to town centre

Good value for money, lovely breakfast, pleanty of car parking space and the location was ideal!

Ensuite bathroom very very small, but did have other bathrooms on other floors which we used, areas looked damp on the walls and ceilings

"I cannot fault the Staff who were friendly and helpful. The decor needs upgrading and bedlinen large enough for the bed would have been nice. I would have appreciated knowing that there was no lift. I enjoyed my stay at the Hotel but will not return."

Staff were excellent. Breakfast was very nice. Bed was very spacious and comfortable.

Huge bed but bedclothes not large enough for it.

"One key feature when choosing our hotel was 'No groups/stag parties/hen parties'. And yet on arrival, we found almost the whole hotel was booked up by a party of Welsh rugby players. I was however assured that this is not normally the case."

Very convenient location with the added bonus of a large car park. There was also a bar in the hotel.

In desperate need of modernisation. Smoking was permitted in the building. Paper thin walls which move when neighbours walk around. Self close doors which slam shut.

Very friendly staff, good breakfast and close to the beach and town.

The hotel could do with some modernisation and the bathroom in the room was minute, certainly not usable for a family.

"we thought that the decor of the hotel room was generally a bit tired and could do with some refurbishment although the beds etc were clean.the bathroom was a bit on the small side as it was a bit of the bedroom sectioned off and fitted out as a bathroom.over all the standard of the room was reasonable for the amount we paid to stay there.the staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast was very good."

"The hotel is in good decorative order and very comfortable. It has no lift, which could be a significant drawback for some people, but the owners were very willing to carry bags. My room was en-suite, but I'm not sure this is the case with all the rooms. It is in a convenient location, but not near enough to the centre to suffer the noise of passing revellers walking home."

This is a family-run hotel, with a very pleasant atmosphere and excellent service. They were very helpful in providing for my special dietary needs.

Smoking is permitted in the lounge, which from my point of view made it a no-go area

It was clean and felt quite new. nice big window letting in lots of light. Really helpful and cheery staff

The shower was cold in the morning in both rooms, dont know if this was a general fault

Very well situated for local facilities within Bournemouth, with particularly hospitable and helpful staff.

Some modernisation to rooms would be beneficial.

"The hotel was within walking distance of the city centre, always a major plus. The staff were found to be warm, friendly and helpful at all times. The cleanliness of the room could not be faulted. Overall, thoroughly recommended."

The size of the bathroom was quite small.
