The staff were so friendly and accommodating, they made the weekend of the great north run great for us, with providing transport, encouragment and great food afterwards. Will definately be coming back next year. Thanks to all.

When booking online I mistakenly entered the wrong dates, I immediately called bed&breakfast.com, on the number on the email confirmation to change and they gave me the new prices and said it had been changed. Upon ringing the hotel the week before to enquire about a service they said we werent booked in for the altered dates. Therefore the bed&breakfasts.com hadnt changed our booking, it was one of the busiest weekends of the year for the Great North Run so luckily we could get in on the required dates if not we would of had no where to stay as every where else was booked up for the weekend! Not happy with the service and will not be booking through it again!

We wanted to book 2 rooms but the website would not allow this.Therefore we booked room1,followed by a new booking of room2.Arrived at 3.30pm and rooms were not ready!

we were very impressed with the hotel, we both travel from time to time with our jobs and thought the ideas ref single females were excellent and something we had not come across. well done. plus very easy to get too.we were very impressed that a mini bus was provided to take us to our concert it was a shame there were not enough places to book the return trip, had i know when booking this service was on offer i would have booked it along with the room
a little out of town.had to wait over an hour and a half for a taxi to get back to the hotel !!

Breakfast was ok but it would be nice to have more of a selection ie, cheese, cold meats, different types of bread etc.
The key card kept cancelling so we had to go to reception twice as one of the times was returning to our room after breakfast the key had cancelled.

Hotel staff very good
Your guarantee is a good night sleep - unfortunately we were on the same floor as a stag party and were kept up most of the night with the noise of people coming and going. We were not asked on our departure if everything was satisfactory and did not raise the issue with the staff but did feel that the Hotel was probably not fully booked and a little more consideration could have been given to placing guests in their rooms.

Staff helpfull and room was very nice.
A lot of noise in the corridoors at night and the bathroom plumbing was poor because of the noise throughout the night when anybody used the facilities in other rooms.

Excellent bed and bathroom facilities.
Minibar needed if bar is to shut at 12:30am. Tea/Coffee making facilities not up to the standard of the room itself.

"The hotel was very good clean and the staff were very welcoming. The lobby area was inviting with good seating and the dining area was very clean and well kept. The bar area was very relaxing and we enjoyed our time at the hotel."
The room was vey clean and we had all the facilities that we required. A noisy party booked in on the second night and we asked if we could please change rooms. Despite the hotel being fully booked our room was changed and we thanked the staff for their assistance.
There was a delay when dining at breakfast firstly being seated and then when we were there was delay in the hot breakfast being prepared and ready. This happened on both morinigs but I must say when the food did arrive evrything was of a high standard. We had booked in for an evening meal and there were long delays bewteen courses, we had to wait 30 minutes for our starter 20 mins between starter and main course and was not sure if we were going to be asked if we would like a sweet. We could not fault the food one bit it was cooked to high standard and was very good.

"We booked this hotel for a hen weekend. The hotel was easy to find with free parking and we were able to check in early as we arrived at Midday. All staff were very helpful and friendly. The hotel is in a good location and about £8 in a taxi to get the centre of Newcastle. Rooms were very spacious with 2 double beds and a nice clean bathroom with a good shower."

"I came to Newcastle for my 40th birthday its a lovely hotel and would stay in the Premier Hotels again its away only a short distance from Newcastle Centre and the Metro Centre definitely a good place to stay helpful staff clean room too well done!"

"Overall, I was impressed with this hotel. It is slighlty more modern and up to date than most Premier Inns it was formerly a Tulip Hotelthat I have stayed at. The only dissapointment was the meal in the restaurant. This was down to the fact that the Bruschetta bread I ordered was rock hard and tasted stale. Main course wasn't bad but you could tell it was a mass produced meal. I would stay here again but eat elsewhere."

The room was very clean and tidy, smelt fresh. It was a basic but luxorious layout. The staff in particular was very helpful, cheerful and friendly. I would also like to say that the food was absolutly gorgeous me and my partner was very impressed.
