    "Good"

Mrs Lamprecht and her son were the perfect hosts and could not do enough for their guests, the breakfast was wonderful and this together with the spotless rooms made for an ideal stopover. My friend and I were delighted with the single rooms, as they are more often than not a cupboard under the stairs.

Rooms were very clean - although we stayed only two nights - room was cleaned whilst we were out. Staff were very friendly - couldnt do enough for you. Wonderful breakfasts.

Room was quite small - but cleanliness outweighed this point.

Great location for a family, just down from the pleasure beach. You cant beat the irish for hospitality first class.

"A very enjoyable break. Even the sun shone."

Good value hotel where the owners have taken care with the little details which mean so much. Shown to our rooms personally and shown where everything was. Nothing too much trouble. Upon leaving a lovely goodbye and shown to the door, with a fond farewell.

    No bad points.

"As soon as you enter this hotel you're made to feel extremely welcome by Leslie and the staff. The whole hotel was spotlessly clean, our rooms were completely comfortable as well. Breakfast is served between 9 -10am, which is a more realistic time when you have children, and is delicious and plentiful. I would recommend this hotel to anyone, especially those with kids, as it's situated practically next door to the Pleasure Beach. Also, as we stayed over Easter our two children each received an egg off Leslie on the Sunday morning which was a really thoughtful of her."

    Extremely friendly and efficient staff.

"Good value, excellent location for the Pleasure Beach, staff were lovely and couldn't help you enough. The room that we had was quite small altho couldn't fault the cleanliness. If you want to go up to the main pubs/clubs then just be aware that you have to get a tram as its not walking distance."

"As for location we thought it may have been noisy due to the location close to the pleasure beach. But we were very surprised how quite it realy was. When we arrived we did have a problem of finding the Hotel but while we were there a new neon sign for the Hotel has been fitted and it does stand out more. The staff were pleasent and very helpfull when we required any information they were there for help."

It was clean and the staff were friendly. Room size was adequate and the veiw was excellent.

"Helpful staff welcomed us when we arrived and advised us of anything we needed to know about facilities etc. First impressions were of bright and cheerful accommodation and the impressions proved to be true. We booked an en-suite, twin room with a sea view and that's exactly what we got. Room bright and fresh looking, beds clean and comfortable, adequate space for clothes etc, tea and coffee making facilities with tv + remote. Room cleaned daily - and I assume hotel was too as the appearance was of a well-kept establishment. Food stay based on B+B was excellent and well presented with friendly waitress service in a clean, cheerful dining room. Although the hotel is near the pleasure beach, double glazing ensured peace and quiet when needed. Easy access to transport, trams and busesand literature provided in the room gave information about things to see and do. Altogether a thoroughly enjoyable stay."

    Bright, clean, fresh and cheerful.

Nice lounge with Pool Table, great location and view. Excellent ladylady and breakfast was lovely.

Bit of trouble with getting the shower the right temperature, but no worse than many other B&Bs.
