"Hotel was very good and well located for the Pleasure Beach far enough away to be quiet but not too far to walk but it was a bit of a trek to Blackpool Tower and the 'Entertainment Quarter' of town."
Hotel was clean and well maintained. Friendly and helpful staff.
Bacon at breakfast was too fatty, black pudding was undercooked.

"Would not stay in this hotel. We were charged a room rate for an executive room but only were given a double room to stay in. "
Shower was very good
Bed was hard and did not get a good nights sleep. Breakfast was poor. Only thing edible was bacon and beans. Receptionist played with belly button piercing while booking us in.

"I would have like to know that paying that bit extra for an executive room didnt make a difference as I must have got the worst room in the hotel. I wasn't happy with the response from the staff there as when I complained about the room they originally fobbed me off with a lame excuse. The room was overall clean but was very cramp, there was hardly any room to walk around. From my experience of this hotel, I wouldn't recommend anyone to go stay there. It was supposed to be a special weekend away for me and my wife but this experience at the hotel ruin the occassion."
The room was poor, I booked an executive room over the internet and when I arrived I got the worst room there. I was given a room next to there boiler room and the noise was unbearable. I complained and left the hotel as there was not other room that they could give. I was very dissapointed that i had to leave at 10 in the evening.

Nice, clean room.
Similar to other reviews, the room was quite hot and we went at the end of October. I suggest a fan as standard.

"Overall the Carousel Hotel is excellent value for money. It is in the quieter end of Blackpool with the centre & Tower easily accessible by tram or taxi. The staff were friendly and efficient. The breakfast & room service were excellent. The hotel is beautifully decorated in the public areas and in the bedrooms. The only slight problem is with lack of parking spaces at the rear of the hotel. I would definitely stay at The Carousel again and would recommend it to anyone thinking of staying in Blackpool."
The friendliness of the staff, the excellent breakfast and room service, the condition and cleanliness of the hotel.
The only problem was with parking spaces.

"The thing that marred an otherwise enjoyable experience was the failure of the night staff to control noisy guests. Due to lack of sleep arising we were unable to complete the family work that we had planned. We trust that a firmer policy wil be enforced from now on."
The food and rooms wre very good

We were very happy as soon as we walked through the door. The reception staff were excellent and very welcoming. Our room was great, we had everything we needed and it was very good value for money. We really enjoyed the Karioki and ended up sitting in the bar until 5am that morning. Thank you for a very enjoble stay and we will be sure to return. Thank you to all staff.

"I feel that apart from the tempreature and the moving to another room, this hotel is to a high standard."
I liked the friendlyness and helpfullness of the staff, was clean to a very acceptable standard. When asked for help or for something was received in good time.
The whole building apart from the bar and resturant was absoulutely boiling hot to the point that we all felt ill, and it wasnt even a hot day. We asked if there was any heating on and the staff said there wasnt and thats what the building is like. I feel if it is like that often air conditioning is needed. this is the only reason why i would not stay there again, which is a shame. We had to be moved from our room to a much smaller one because the lock on the door was not working, I feel that important things such as this should be checked after cleaning a room along with any other general defects.

"over all the hotel was very good, it is a short walk to the pleasure beach and a short tram ride into town. It is on the seafront which is a big bonus. Parking is limited but that is advertised so comes as no surprise. the rooms were clean and of a good standard. Did i mention the breakfast...lets just say plenty of what ever you want."
the staff were very helpful and friendly, it was very clean . The breakfast was superb
nothing to dislike, however not being able to use the bar in the evenings due to two birthdays was a bit of a bummer
