"Overall, the saty was enjoyable. Staff not helpful, and on arrival, the sink in the bathroom was not working. We asked for this to be fixed and it never was. excellent location and facilities near by. "
Excellent location, spacious room, excellent facilities in room
mould around bath, stains on fllor in kitchen and on ceiling in bathroom, early check out time of 11am is not good, staff not particularly helpful

"Visitor hotels during our stay did not even come close to providing the customer service that Fraser Suites Glasgow provided gratuitously with a smile and an offer to do more. I would definitely recommend Fraser Suites Glasgow and will look for other Fraser Suites hotels in future travels. "
Staff members went above and beyond our expectations to assist our large family group of 9 in making additional travel bookings, providing directions, and generally doing anything and everything we asked of them. We were very appreciative of the efforts of the staff to make certain that our stay was as comfortable and pleasant as possible. They are to be commended. Our rooms were conveniently located near each other and were some of the most comfortable rooms we stayed in during our vacation stay in the U.K.
Can't think of a single bad point.

"Nice comfortable, clean and assessible hotel. Nice friendly staff."
Frasier suites are apartment concept with cooking facilities available. Very clean, comfortable with necessary cooking utensils. Near city centre and shopping area is about 10 mins walk away.
A bit noisy when people upstairs walking around.

"A nice place to stay for either business or pleasure, right in the heart of town and very easy to find. The staff were pleasant and helpful and I would gladly return."
Great location in the Merchant City, lovely room with good facilities. Would have beeen perfect for an extended stay.
Noisy clock in the room - battery removal solved that problem! Very warm in the room despite all radiators being turned off.

"I would highly recommend the Fraser Suites. There's a covered car park almost next door, great cafes for breakfast and excellent restaurants nearby. It also has the added advantage of a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle. The staff are very friendly and efficient. I will definitely return and will tell all my friends about it."

the room was well decorated and very nice looking made you feel like home... there wasnt that many staff around so it didnt feel like you were staying in a hotel which was good...

Being an appartment, the romm had extra facilities compared to a normal hotel room, e.g. a small kitchen. There was also a greater amount of living space / seating compared to a normal hotel room.
The head of the bed was against the corridor wall, so all noises outside the room could easily be heard. While the hotel was billed as new, some of the equipment in the room already seemed a bit tired - the knob to close the plug in the bath was broken and one of the speakers on the stereo also did not work. The large bin in the kitchen already had rubbish in it from previous guests / when the room was cleaned.

very spacious and and well laid out rooms

"Thought the apartments were very pleasant to the eye. beds very comfortable. bedrooms were spotlessly clean. As said a few small problems with the lounge and hall but nothing that would put us off going back to stay again. Generally an ideal place to stay, very comfortable and well situated."
Hotel was in a very central location. Very nice surroundings - minimilistic. Apartment very clean in general. Had all equipment you would require. Overall we had a lovely stay and the apartments are ideal for short stay in the city.
carpets in lounge and hallway quite badly marked. Toilet seat broken. paintwork on walls coming off at windows. Generally required a little bit of tlc here and there.

"Overall we had a good stay, it was nice to have cd/dvd player in room along with kitchen appliances and fridge etc, it was spacious too and felt quite homely. The separate living/bedroom accomodation was a huge bonus and the hotel is in a really central location for Glasgow city centre. Staff are really pleasant too. The Tron theatre clock is very loud when it chimes though!!"
The fact there was a separate sitting/cooking area away from sleeping area
Shabby paintwork on walls and dampness on bathroom ceiling in room 118 I expected higher standards for the Fraser suites. Maybe it was just room 118?

"The overall impression of the Fraser Suites from initially dealing with the booking on the website to checking in with the welcoming receptionist was a pleasure. The accommodation was just what we were looking for and we will definitely be staying there again and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for somewhere which is spotless, modern and near to anywhere within Glasgow city centre."
The simple and tasteful decor and the fact that it was totally spotless.
The only thing I could really say that I disliked was the noise from the traffic on the street below which could be rectified with thicker glazing on the windows or providing ear plugs to guests who tend to sleep a bit later than 8-9am

I loved everything about the accommodation, room was fantastic and clean. would stay again.
the only downfall was the floorboards in the room above, as they were were noisy and kept me awake.

"we enjoyed our stay here, we have had a room as a couple a few times and wouldnt go anywhere else, birthday, anniversary breaks i have loved it each time, i do think that regular customers could benefit from better prices or a loyalty scheme, i have been to many hotels and i think they lack communication with regular customers knowing that they will return."
nice and spacious, modern, feels like home.

"Would liked to have known about the parking facilities, which were very good, but not mentioned when booking - had to phone to find out where to park etc. Also one of our group was awakened very early in the morning from the noise of a cleaning machine at the car park opposite our room which continued for hours keeping her awake. Overall though our stay was good."
Was central, room was excellent, very spacious, very clean and comfortable. The extra hour on to check out time for free was much appreciated.
Would have preferred to have the option of a smoking room/area inside hotel. CD player did not work, and perhaps sky TV/Freeview in an apartment room would have been a bonus.

"We were generally very disappointed. The accomodation furniture / carpet was very dirty and we did not want the baby to crawl on the floor. We requested a high chair which we were not provided with. The check in time was late because the hotel had not checked that the previous occupant had left. We were put in a room directly opposite a avery loud church clock - with a baby!!! The area was very noisy with late night revellers and the windows were not adequate for this. Pillowcases were not provided on some pillows. The location is good for shopping / eating out. Would not reccommend for light sleepers!!!"
the idea of the seperate bed an living room was ideal with a baby as we could put him to bed and still spend time with our friends
not clean enough. very noisy

lack of finishing touches eg lamps ornaments

"Hotel was clean and tidy. Reception staff should be sent on customer service seminar - a smile and a hello is the minimum i expect when entering and leaving a hotel. DVD library was a nice touch with up to date films. Room was spacious."
Location, room space.
Poor quality tv, reception staff not friendly.

"Very satisfied overall, will use again when visiting Glasgow."
Most things.
No safety handrail in bath for when using shower. Elderly, or as in our case, slightly disabled find absence of such disconcerting.

"Very nice rooms with good design and clean, but it can be noisy"
the nice room, the design of the sleeping room, kitchenette, central position in center
- the bathroom: the bath is not so deep - a toilet in the hall near the reception would be nice - a kind of bar/lounge where people can have a drink when they arrive in the hotel. Also when they arrive late at night - the isolation: it's very noisy. Because there's no bar jou have bad luck if your neihgbours are going to have a party on their room
stayed on April 7, 2006
"I thoroughly ejoyed my stay and thought the apartments were excellent. The only thing that spoiled things, was on the Saturday night neighbours in the apartments seemed to be having a very loud party, which went on all night long and was still going when we left on the Sunday. We were unable to get any sleep at all. I am sure you will appreciate this is not what most people are looking for when they are away for the weekend. It was very unfortunate as everything else about the apartments were perfect."
I enjoyed the freedom the apartment offered, and it was very central to facilities.

"I would like to see they state no air conditioning or double glazing."
Accommodation was very good ie rooms big lots of room good storage.
Very closed in no windows in walk areas. No double glazing or air conditioning. Room very warm and lots of street nose.

The location was excellent, in the heart of my favourite part of Glasgow - the Merchant City. The one bedroom apartment was fantastic, spacious, clean and very well equipped. I was suprised how large the apartment was. And I really ejoyed the experieince of a serviced apartment instead of a hotel, I will certainly do that again.

the staff were polite, good location
