Location of hotel perfect. Staff excellent and food very good.

rooms very small. Could not book a twin room. Queen size bed and double sofa too big for room. Also rooms very stuffy. Could not get any fresh air.

Lovely bathroom but room otherwise a bit rough around the edges. Our room was a room for three but the third bed was only a pull out sofa and the bedding, although clean, was past it's best.

good sized room, breakfast excellent and good service from all staff.

Swimming pool although very nice is on the small size which could be a problem if more than 2 people wanted to swim at a time. Luckily it was empty on the 2 occasions we swam.

Nice clean modern hotel in a good location and for a fair price

Only improvement I can think of is that the bed could've been more comfortable. It dipped in the middle. Stay in quite a lot of Premier Inns and their beds are much more comfortable.

staff friendly, room was very clean and bed comfortable. Found breakfast to be amazing catered for all requirements.

Loved the bathroom and room layout. Room service food was tasty and well cooked.

The room was a good size as was the bathroom, facilities as in hairdrier and iron etc was good.

No heating whatsoever, complained in the afternoon to desk clerk who said he had received a couple of complaints and would look into it. Got back to the hotel about 2 in the morning to find freezing conditions,unable to get any sleep as it was so cold and the duvet was not warm enough, even used my sheepskin coat as a blanket. Also young people arguing in the corridor as well as in the neighbouring room did not help.

To have smoking rooms available.

The Heating was not working properly, the heater provided was not working either. You need to place ionisers in the smoking room to avoid the strong smell.

Staff were attentive, helpful and polite, Food was very good and the close location to city centre shops and the PSP boatshow is excellent.

Leisure facilities at the hotel were not the best!

Room was to hot and no air-con to turn on to cool it down.

Excellent, V comfy bed. Also liked the Ipod connection through the TV to enable us to play our own music

"Should have been informed of the works to the hotel and the adjoining areas before we booked. Revamped Restaurant was probably okay for Business and Conference use but too stark for Leisure visitors. And, if the Hotel is now concentrating on Business and Conference usage, Leisure users may prefer to move elsewhere such as Holiday Inn or Hilton."

Works being carried out to Bar area; Car Parking restrictions; Noise from Building and Civil engineering works; Recommendation to park in McDonalds car park.

Novation room was comfortable and well equiped. However poor detail such as hair dryer was provided at dressing table in room but the only mirror was in bathroom.

Novotel rooms are always clean and spacious. having a setee make all the difference.

Lack of drawer space and key card kept deactivating and once broke due to light activator was located too close to the door and it got caught and snapped.
